Amusing Anecdotes

Post by CathyD »

I had an amusing thing happen the other day, and thought I'd share it, then thought it would be a nice place to collect a bunch of similar little events that we have all had.
I woke up feeling a little more feminine that usual, so righ after I started my coffee, and while doing my morning bathroom routine, I saw the lipstick in the cabinet beckoning me. I thought, 'what the heck, why not' and put some on.
Later, I realized I needed something from the nearby grocery store, and decided to walk there, in drab, as I normally would. Along the way a car with 4 guys in it pulled over to ask directions, which I provided. I couldn't help noticing that they seemed to "hang" on my every word. It wasn't till I got back home that I remembered that I was still wearing the lipstick!! I almost wet myself laughing!! I'd love to have heard what went on in in that car when they pulled away!!

How about it, girls? Anyone else have a story to share?

Today I woke up feeling more fem then usual for me. I did my normal Sunday morning routine of a hot bath and shaving off almost all of my body hair. I then put on a thong and a very cute skirt with a cami under a puffy short sleeve button up shirt. If I need to leave the house I will most likely put on a skirt I can put stuff in my pockets. I do not own a purse but think I should buy one soon.

Gaven,
Absolutely do buy the purse! Ladies should only have "natural" curves, not those lumps created by pockets full of keys and wallets and makeup!

A few years back I was out of town at a mall sporting one of my guy in femme clothes looks. I was in all femme clothes, jeans, femme but more of a unisex looking top, femme shoes, bra with 40B's in, no makeup or wig, and 5 o'clock shadow.

Well I was just making a loop of the mall and hitting the stores. I walk by one of those restaurants that has part of it in the mall area with the railing around it. Well there are two guys sitting out there is all and the one does the normal guy thing of getting the other guys attention and than points what looks like behind me. And the two of them proceed to stand up and lean over the rail to get a good look due to something in their way. Well I am thinking there must be some hot chick behind me. So I slow down and look into a store window to let her pass. But there is no one behind me. I do a slow spin thinking she stopped or I missed her but no one at all in the area but me and no where any one could have gone. They were looking at me.

I laughed to myself and moved on. I am not sure if they were trying to figure me out, checking me out, or jealous for the chest I had as a guy.

Some months ago, wife and I went to WalMart. we had an item to return, so I took it up the Service Desk. All went well until she asked me for ID. I handed her my DL and she looked confused. At first she was going to reject my ID, then I told her it WAS my ID. It was like a light bulb lite up over her head when she figured it all out. Then she got real chatty. I am sure she had a great story to tell her co-workers. LOL

I have posted this elsewhere on the site, but it is still an amusement to think about to me.

I was standing at the checkout stand at Wally-world, about 4 months after going 24/7, and two years after starting HRT. There were three fraternity/sorority types behind me in the line with two carts filled with enough junk food, chips, dips, cokes etc. to feed an army, probably preparing for a party, and the guy says to me, "Hey, you ever been a man"? Now you can't let a line like that go by without a truthful response, so I looked him in the eye, lifted my brows, and said, "Why no, I haven't. Have YOU ever been a man?"

His friends, especially the girls, laughed him out of the line, as did the people behind him, the people in the line next to us, and the checkout clerk. He went dark red in the face and went wa-a-ay down the line to check out.

I really don't think he will do that again.

I was in Nordstroms buying a new skirt, with my wife. I took it to the checkout and the SA asked, do you want to try it on.

I said, "No, I think it'll fit."

She looked up, embarrassed, and said "Oh, I thought she was with you."

I said, "she is."

Thing is, my wife was no where near the register.

Well, my wife and I went to Spencer NC Saturday to see the train that Disney is touring around the country to hype their new Christmas movie.
I drove down wearing ladies slacks and a striped short sleeve blouse. With that I wore knee highs and black low heel shoes with small bows at the straps.
In the parking lot at Spenser, I changed to white walking shoes and when we left to return home I changed back to my black fem shoes. When we stopped at the Cracker Barrel for dinner I kept them on.
I got several questioning looks while we sat in rockers on the porch, and one woman seemed ready to say something but then turned and went into the restaurant.
I also had to stop at an office supply store where nobody gave me a second look.
I had so much fun that, after church today, we went to a couple of Goodwill stores wearing the same shoes with a pair of black, straight leg slacks and a maroon top with a Peter Pan neckline and short sleeves.
I finally found a teddy that will fit and a 40B bra
