Hi all,
This is what's happening tonight in Montreal's Six Flag-owned La Ronde amusement park. Unfortunately, I won't be there (a cold and fever have me cleaving unto my bed).
Gays, Lesbians Take Over La Ronde
Drag queen or no, wish you all were here. Heh.
Love,
CJ

Sounds like a neat and novel idea!
Would be great if they started doing that at theme parks all over though I cannot see Disney ever doing it.

I could see the bad press nowDalindra wrote:Would be great if they started doing that at theme parks all over though I cannot see Disney ever doing it.
But I'd have to agree, I'd love it if Six Flags here in Colorado did this, I'm normally to shy to go out en femme, but for this I think I could muster the courage!

I can remember several years ago at the San Diego zoo. We were leaving, having been there at opening and it was about 1:00 and all these busses were pulling up and all these gays, literally 100's of them were pilling out and not much shocks me but the way a lot of them were dressed or undressed was well it was disgusting. Leather thongs and no shirts with leather studded vests and purple hair in mohawks and black lipstick, but what the heck they were having a good time so live and let live.
CJ, I hope you don't have the N1H1 or pigcycle or hogmeat flu or whatever they are calling it now! Get well soon. We miss you!!!
Love,
Virginia

Oh, I think there is an "unpublished" LGBT day at DisneyWorld and they have quite a turnout. Also I understand that Disney is very tolerant of "us." Its the tourist that seem to have a problem.
We also have group tours available, trains and boats and planes, well planes are limited now by the TSA but as we say, "it ain't braggin if you can do it!"
Travel and explore ladies, life is to short to be unhappy and not be yourself!!

Hi all
Sure sounds like fun up there in "cold" land, CJ. I went to Dineyworld 3(?) years ago with another great girl friend and figured we would slip beneath the radar with all the gays there (it was gay days). Wrongo! They musta went somewhere else...only saw maybe 30 lesbians or so in their red shirts. But, yes Disney unofficially promotes "Gay days" and they do educate their staff about T people. We had a fun time at Disney and Epcot, although it was very hot in June. Not fun wearing a wig, but the things we do for beauty
And I agree with Virginia, some gays do go overboard with their dressing things...but the Disney staff is right on that. Some religious group had a boycott on Disney for their acceptance of gays, but after three years or so..they dropped it....it went nowhere. Anyway, it was a fun time and might go there again this Halloween
We'll see what happens, but it is a good place for us!!!! Amd Orlando loves our crowd..we spend bucks http://www.wftv.com/news/19668799/detail.html
Hugs

Thanks for linking that CJ!
I am kinda suprised about Disneyland supporting Gay days after a friend of mine worked there for 2 years and told me the stories.
I live not that far from that Disneyland though am not going to go at least this year.
Perhaps iy I find some other CD folks local in the future but no way I would go alone.
