The new policy at Hunters Nightclub (1932 E Higgins Rd) requires all customers to show a valid photo ID that matches their "gender presentation." In other words, if you show up looking like a boy or like a girl, then that must match your government-issued ID as well.

I would certainly hope that they are looking for another solution. I can understand their concern over potentially losing their liquor license. (Donna, remember Z-2's in Richmond, searching ladies purses for those little liquor bottles which evidently where being sneaked in and they were afraid some undercover cop would see that and they could also lose their license.) However, prostitution is a bit more serious.

That's a terrible policy--I would hope someone would take them to court if they didn't modify it. I can see they're in a dilemma, if they're attracting attention for the soliciting that goes on there. Somehow other bars and clubs deal with the problem--they act like they're having to re-invent the wheel, here.
