Hi Susan, Donna and everyone who reads this.

Well spotted. I particularly like the hug from one of the girls at the end of the sequence.

PS Sorry about not turning up at the meeting at Teela's - I will eventually build up confidence to go one day.

Just a question.....or two

Post by TerriLynn »

OK, good job for the girls defending themselves, kind of reminds me of an incident between myself and a drunk cowboy one night. From the text of the report, I get the gist of what a 'yob' is, but my question: what exactly are 'cage fighters'? Are they an ametuer wrestler or something similar? And if they are wrestlers, why are they dressed enfemme?

Just brings new meaning about Americans and English being a common people seperated by a 'common' language. I guess living out in the barren plains of the Texas panhandle leave me a bit isolated, lol.

Anyway, yay for our side this time.

Jamie, i don't know if you've been to Teelas since you posted, but I went last Monday and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I am a relatively new CD and it was my first time and was very nervous too. However, as with the community in general, everyone else is so very warm and friendly that you feel at home almost straight away. The relief at being able to dress, and walk and belong is almost tangible. I found it a very liberating and relaxing experience.
If you haven't been yet, don't hang about...go.
