Southern TV student & school clash

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

Southern TV student & school clash

Post by Robyn Katie »

Hi, Sisters, hope this does not duplicate any other entry:

From the Marietta (GA) Daily Journal:

N. Cobb High & Teen Clash Over Dress Code

Sorry for the length of the url ... tried twice to get a simpler one, but no luck. (*)

Love, Robyn Katie

(*) Edited to make the link clickable text, thereby reducing the 'length' of the URL in the actual post. As noted below by Susan, using tinyurl.com works, also. =D>

I had caught bits and pieces of this on the news but with their "sound bite" mentality it was difficult to determine what was actually going on.

I noticed in the article a couple of things, one is that (I think or at least I interpreted it to say,) that he admits to being gay or that he thinks that others think he is gay. Could be read both ways? I have been taken to task for wondering out loud why a gay person would want to dress up like someone that they would prefer to "keep at arms length?" Ah, but that is another story!

Second, he says he is an artist and this is one way he expresses himself.
That to me is a good thing!!! He is a pioneer and as one sage put it, "its the pioneers that take the arrows!"

We on this forum must have appreciation for him/her!!!!!! =D> =D> =D>

She is actually making our lives easier, at least for those of us who go out among the "great unwashed." Even those who don't go out it makes those around us realize that "we are not alone!" They may not like it or condone it but at least they are aware of it and that we exist and heaven forbid, "they" may actually see one of us from time to time.

All I can say is "YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!"

Hi Robyn Katie

In future submit your very long URLs to this site:

http://tinyurl.com/

it generates a short (7 or 8 character long) URL that never expires so you can use it forever. This is it in action. Check the link - it works

http://tinyurl.com/yzu3eex

I find it useful here.

Hi, Robyn -

Thank you for the link to the article, I found it very interesting and wish Jonathon the best!!

I have edited the link in your original post, and you can click on the 'edit' button to see how I did it.

Tinyurl.com works, also, but I personally prefer having the link shown as 'clickable text' as it looks so much classier and keeps the posts looking neater.

Susan, I'm fairly certain that tinyurl links can be done the same way, though, right? :-k

Silver Lady

yes, tinyurl URLs are just as valid as the ridiculously long ones. If you read the blurb on the tinyurl site you will find that they never expire, its just a pass through service.

I hope this proves useful for everyone. I am always glad to help.
