Facial hair

I have never had a beard or mustache, but have to shave every day. It takes a lot of effort as a CD to shave extra close and only lasts for part of the day. I have tried Nair - and irritated my skin with no loss of facial hair. I do not really have thousands to spend on electrolysis, or lazer therapy which I hear have varied results, especially on white hair. I am also not pleased with "blue skin" in areas above the lip and on my chin caused by coarse black beard. Recently - this should reveal my desperation - I started working at my face with a Tweezie single wheeled epilator - OUCH!!!! I know hair grows in cycles and that you have to keep at it. So I have been working at it over the past couple of months, even using nair for sensitive skin not more than every other day. Over time there are fewer hairs, Nair is starting to work on the thinner hair. and this morning I didn't need to shave, the growth if very fine and thin, With a 5 bladed shave my skin is as smooth and bare as a womans! The blue skin is I believe going away! Yea!!!! No one has noticed, apparantly I just continue to lood clean shaven in masculine mode!

I too have alot of problems with this.

I use an electric razor before work because it is close enough for "man" mode at work.

I use a 5 blade shaver for face, legs and underarms but the area around my mouth is so sensitive I usualy end up with a few cuts anyways.

Never tried Nair though I have seen some ladies products for facial hair and may try that in the future.

Nair on your face?? That is gutsy!! But if it works, have at it!
There is a saying among us that who ever invents a premanent hair removal system - that is cheap and works = will be a crossdresser!

I do use the nair certainly not every day and some would find it incredibly irritating! I am looking for an epilator, as I have been at it twice daily with my "Tweezie" which eats AAA batteries. I have made my beard more sparce but it grows back in cycles. Today I used tweezers after the tweezie - time consuming but productive - Perhaps If I keep pulling eventually I can wake up with a face as smoothe as any woman's. This woud make skin care much better, skin scraped once or twice daily becomes rougher I believe - like building a callouse. I use Oil Of Olay rejuvinating soap, then aveeno lotion. today I was able to move on to full make up along with my dress and all - wonderful to have a wife who understands.

If you're going out...wanting the least hair, its suggested you don't shave for a day then use a fresh blade. The best way to check is with a credit card (bad ones are ok) and rub it against your face. You will notice stubble with that method, so shave, shave again. Shadow is very tough to deal with, so try Dermablend or Mehron tatoo cover. Its all trial and error but what we won't do for beauty

I did not really need to shave this morning. yesterday I let what was there grow until about noon, then had at it with my little battery eating single wheeled epilator, then went for a while with some sharp tweezers, then the Nair, followed by my 5 bladed vibrating razor. It is so nice to have my face feel as soft and smooth as my legs after nair and the razor. I have never been able to really grow a thick mustache or beard and have not really wanted to since I was a teenager. Now I just want to enjoy not having to shave - this is the poor transgender's lazer therapy equivelent - only I pull those white hairs out by the roots. I suppose without really singing the root area the hair will regenerate but the blue skin is gone - too the world I am just clean shaven - no one seems to suspect a thing - I kept my sideburns about 1/2 way up the ear - a traditional and conservative length that is hidden by my wig. Can't wait for cold weather to shave the front of my shins - this hair gives me plausable deniability in shorts because there is still hair on my lower legs.

You can't beat a new razor and shaving oil

Wash your face as normal - rinse off any soap. Then wet your chin area with warm water and apply 3 drops of shaving oil to it via your hands. It may not seem much but make sure you cover everywhere.

Shave as normal but you will have to rinse your razor more. I have found it leaves my face as smooth as any female's for up to 12 hours.

This is my regime before Susan goes out and it works a treat.

Susan, Where do you buy your Shaving oil and what brand?
I have never seen an oil (I use a gel) and would love to try this.

Shaving oil is widely available here in pharmacies (drug stores) and supermarkets. The bottles are small, typically 15ml = 0.5floz but as I said before you only need a couple of drops.

The shaving process is very smooth and any bits you have missed are immediately evident by feel.

pulling the hair out by the roots is my new hobby. It takes longer to grow back. I stopped the sensitive nair and switched to Olay to cleanse and moisturize my skin. I have pulled out the tweezers and do this daily, followed by my epilator, then a 5 bladed shave for the rest then moisturizer. My face is as smooth as a woman's ALL DAY! and when I wake up in the morning my face is nearly as smooth except for the fine inevitable growth.
