Use the bold tab [ B ] to switch it on and off when writing your message

p.s. you can do italics too

Viv and Lori . . . the bold, italics, and underline functions are found in those rectangle boxes between the Subject and Message body when composing a post. They are like toggle switches, click "B" for bold, "i" for italics, and "u" for underline at the beginning of the text you wish to show in bold, italics, and/or underline, and then click them again at the end of your text.

Likewise, you can change the colour of your text, too!!

However, we prefer that you don't use any of these functions for your entire post message as it's much harder to read (and will be edited by the Mods or myself).
