Keeping it for myself
I had ordered my wife a set of pjs and a sweater on line. Early this morning was the first time I got to see the sweater,....and I wanted to keep it. Of course, she loved it.

I can't afford to buy another one for myself right now. I usually only buy second hand anyway. My wife doesn't like that I wear women's clothing. However, it is more acceptable for me to spend $5.00 for a sweater than $35.00.
I know that my wife would never allow me to wear her clothing. The most I could hope for is to simply try it one while she's not home. I usually don't like to sneak around like that.
I think the fun part was that both her mother and I both bought her sweaters. Yet, she is returning the one her mother bought. It says to me that I have a greater understanding of what she likes and what looks good on her. She likes the color, and style. I also realized, from personal experience, the importance of a longer sweater for over weight people. The sweater from her mother rides up on her because it is too short.
