Blahs!

I'm suffering from a bad case of the blahs. Two days in a row I've had the house to myself and an oppertunity to dress up a bit. I just can't work up the enthusiasm. If I was a GG I probably would be in a robe, wearing furry slippers and my hair in curlers.

Used to be we called it the uglies. When you came home from work and your SO was wearing her robe, furry slippers, hair in curlers, and a facial mask you knew you weren't getting any that night or in the near future.

Honey, you live in Tampa, get dressed, go down to the "Retreat" hoist a cold one and then go have a steak dinner at that world famous steak house that the name escapes me but I have eaten there several times and it is awesome.

Hi Wendae,

It happens. I recently had a hand operation (entirely successful) and though it didn't prevent my wearing a bra, I just couldn't make myself bother. I went on wearing pretty tops, panties and skirts, but couldn't summon that special feeling that makes me want to wear a bra.

Happily that period's passed.

It hurts when you have the opportunity and you can't make yourself use it. But there'll be more opportunities, and I've been trying to learn to let myself be whoever I am at the moment. (Not always easy.)

You'll get your groove back.

Although many say that they will dress to cheer themselves up, I find I only like to dress if I'm already in a good mood. So I emphasize. Sounds normal to me.
