I guess I should say hi!

Post by Louise »

Well, after I little lurk around I guess I should say hi. I'm in my early 20s and I've been "experimenting" since I was around 7yo, mainly with underwear. In the past couple of years this moved onto outer clothing, my underwear drawer is now bursting at the seams and most of my wardrobe is full of dresses, skirts, leggings, trousers and tops. My collection probably exceeds my male clothing.

I've only ever told one person about what I do (and she was very supportive) and never go out in public dressed as a female. Although I will occasionally wear underwear beneath my normal clothes.

At first I thought I was weird, but after reading up on it I've decided to stick with it.

Anyway, I'm rambling!

Welcome Louise

Don't worry about being weird, you are anything but. As you are just starting out may I give you some advice.

Firstly, the desire to dress will never go away no matter how much you try and deny it, I personally have found it gets stronger as I got older (in my 50's now). The vast majority of us are normally heterosexual. I am married with two grown children.

Susan has way more many shoes, clothes etc than my male alter-ego and what you are doing now is what we all started with.

I only started going out in public in December 2008 (baby steps) but last Wednesday I and another member here went out for a girls night out in the centre of Manchester (England) with nothing amiss, in fact we had a ball.

Susan has been a bonus in my life, she has made us a very much calmer person than I think I would be if she didn't exist. I have made a lot of friends here and we all will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Come and join us in the chatroom sometime, you will find we don't bite ;)

Best wishes
Susan

I know some things.

Hi, Louise, and welcome to our internet family. As Susan said, we all start that way. As the saying goes we put on our panties one foot at a time.

I too have found that The need seems to grow with age (63).

Welcome and please join us in chat.

Hi Louise, Im new here myself and while older than you, I relate to your experience and emotion. Share your time with this site and it will certainly help you experience your feminine side to the fullest capacity possible within your comfort zone. Happy dressing from NYC

Thanks for the welcome. Reading some of the topics makes me feel not so "different".
