Hello, I am new to the whole chat site thing, so please bare with me. I am someone who dresses for many reasons, as are probably most of you. I have a loving and accepting wife, but as with marriage there is compromise, this is found in my crossdressing life. I came out to her about 14 years ago, and this was a very good thing for us. Her understanding had its limits, as to how far she wanted to see me go. She was very honest with me. She did not want a spouce that looked more feminine than her. She does not want to see me in a Bra, wigs, or makeup, yet about everything else goes. I can not count the purge cycles that I have been through, the last one was about 10 years ago now. It came at the end of a 2 year period of 24/7 panties. I am a nylon freak, I love nylon panties, camisoles, slips, and pantyhose. I have little desire to go the whole nine yards, but once I would like to go out of town to someplace where I could get a complete makeover with the pictures that I could keep of "my twin sister". I guess I am looking for a little love, acceptance and respect, even when I still don't understand me after doing this for more than 40 years.

Welcome, Glyn. As you've doubtless realized you are among friends here on the forum and in the chat room and are always welcome to share or just hang out. You're quite right that there's quite the array of experiences around here. Each of us experiences our affinity for the feminine in a different way, but we all understand some of the complexities that go with the territory.

For some reason your post makes me wonder how many underdressing hours the members of this forum have put in collectively? If only there was a related fundraising drive. Cross-dressing to cure cancer. If I had been sponsored at a dollar a day I'd have raised over seven thousand so far ...

It's great that you've been able to strike a compromise with your wife that seems to work for you. That puts you ahead of the game in many ways, and I hope it continues to work well for the two of you. Again: Welcome!
