I put in the the post about my new Molded Bra,(Black) there is still another one to arrive "nude/beige" but today I went to local bra/swim suit shop (actually it a very large bra store) looking for a couple more Molded underwire bras to no avail, tried on several bras with out much success and ended up purchasing two "Amoena"- Style "Mona" one black & one beige except they 42 A when most the other bra were 42 B. I must admit that the 42 A were much more comfortable than the previous purchased 42Bs.
Speaking to boss, she said that the last time that I had been in the shop that I did not get fitted but just ask for that particular size bra, and she was correct, so the moral of this story is ask to be properly fitted and not try to be a smarty know-all

Keeping them cupped comfortably.

It seems that at least some of you gurls gets the honor of going
shopping with Mom or SO or maybe both on occasion. there is no way
that I could even imagine even remotely doing this, but for those
who can it must be like being in HEAVEN. Even trying to imagine
it......IMPOSSIBLE.
BUT, for those of you that can go shopping with Mom or SO bless
you and enjoy every second of it....I am so happy for you all.
Hugs to you all and applause.

lovely dress
On a quick visit to a Ross store near my hotel, not really expecting to buy anything (yeah right), I happened upon a lovely rose print sheer dress with a separate liner slip thing in my size and marked down to $10! Didn't even try it on, just bought it off the rack. I could hardly believe it, must have been fate.

As I've said before my wife has no problem with panties, jewelery or clear nail polish. She will some time buy panties for me or jewelery but isn't a fan of allowing any more then that. Penny's is having a sale and she bougt me some panties but got hi-rise and hipsters. I prefer briefs so today we went together and exchanged then for what I wanted and she got some for herself. I'm the one that got her on to Vanity Fair which we both now wear. Different sizes tho.
On the way out I saw some small silver hoops I wanted so I bought two cards with 3 sets on each. There were many more things I wanted but knew better then to push my luck. I love the new large watches. I have a large wrist and they would look better then the more dainty ones. Think I'll go back on my own later and buy one. Saw a nice cuff style watch and bracelet set I liked.

The SA at Penny's let me try on the watch and bracelet. Wouldn't you know my wrist are too big.%$#@. At GW I tried on 3 shirts and 2 blouses. Only one skirt fit but for $3.00+ who's complaining. I'm finially over being self conscious when shopping in drab and talk to other patrons and the SAs. Feels great.

first trip!
So I did my first little shopping spree tonight (in drab, so I was definitely nervous).
First I went to Payless, and bought a basic pair of 2" black pumps:

Then I went to Kohl's and got a cute denim skirt:
http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/womens/ ... +Skirt.jsp
and top: http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/womens/ ... on+Top.jsp
plus some pantyhose.
I couldn't wait to get home to try them on (actually wouldn't be able to). So I pulled into an empty lot and tried on the shoes...Perfect! Just like Cinderella and the glass slipper...
So I kept them on and drove a few miles, they were so comfy. Then I decided to pull over again to a secluded area, and put the skirt on...actually a little big! I'll have to exchange it, but still very cute. So I drove a few more miles, drove into an apartment complex, got out of the car, and walked around a few times. Very nice..I can navigate these heels no problem!
But I had to change back..but I am so happy! :D

Through her contacts at a local clothing store, my friend Dana was able to organize an "after hours" shopping excursion for members of Colorado’s Tri-Ess chapter, Tau Sigma Kappa.
When I read the news of a shopping trip, my eyes widened with anticipation. Shopping en femme is a delightful experience and one I’d rather not miss. After all, who doesn’t love to shop? To say I was excited would be an understatement. Let’s face facts, I’m a cross-dresser and don’t have the opportunity to shop while dressed very often. I jumped at the chance!
Dana took care of all the details. The store was going to remain open for us, and only us, on Sunday evening. We would be the only guests there and the sales staff was briefed on what to expect. (As I understood it, they were just as excited to help!)
I walked in just after the store closed for regular customers, and was greeted by warm smiles. I knew just what I wanted: a new skirt for Spring. I thought about this for some time, and decided to look for something floral.
One of the sales associates was eager to help me find what I wanted. We looked through several patterns and colors, before I chose one to try on. I also picked out a nice camisole and matching top and was then whisked away to the dressing rooms. After trying the outfit, I looked at myself in the mirror and was disappointed. I just didn’t like the way it looked. I put them back and kept searching.
I talked with friends while we shopped and probably looked through every rack in the store. While I was talking, I noticed a white skirt with an embossed flower pattern. It was really cute, but I was hesitant. In my mind, I still wanted a skirt with some color. I wandered around some more, but kept coming back to the white skirt. I finally decided I should at least try it on. I looked through all the items displayed on the table, but much to my dismay, they had none in my size. I asked the associate if they had more in the back and she went to check. By this time, disappointment was starting to show on my face. My friend Karen noticed and decided to help. She looked around and got a second salesperson to look too. When the girl came from the storeroom empty handed, I knew it was just not going to be my night. We looked all over the store and couldn't find one in my size. Just as I was about to give up, someone asked if we checked the mannequins. Ah, a glimmer of hope! Scouting around, we found one with the exact skirt I was looking for. We had the clerk remove it and check the size. Was it right? Nope. Again, I felt my prospects looking thin. Reluctantly I decided to look for something else.
Maybe I should buy a dress, I thought to myself. I can look for my skirt somewhere else.
I browsed through the dresses for a while, not really interested in what I saw. That's when the most amazing thing happened! They found a second mannequin with the same skirt, and this one was in my size! (Yay!) I couldn't get in the dressing room quick enough, I was so excited. I tried it on and it was a perfect fit. I paid for it soon after and thanked everyone who helped me. I especially thanked Dana for coordinating the shopping trip for us.
It turned into a great evening and I went home with a really cute skirt. I hope to do this again sometime real soon. It was a lot of fun.
Hugs,
Kyra
