I know I am coping but progress is needed
I have worn a bra with my wife's approval for 6 years and have gradually developed to panties, nighties.
I now need to wear a skirt at home but need to have acceptance from my wife. She knows I want it. any suggestions

Thanks a helpful hint I will try it out. KI don't use forms or a wigDonnaT wrote:Talk to her. See if she'd try letting you wear just the skirt, without the bra or fem top. Similar to wearing a kilt.
Y'all can then slowly work in the other attire as she gets more comfortable.
At home I don't wear forms, makeup or a wig. Seems to help.

Hi Kittie,
Moving into regular skirt wearing is a big step. I don't know whether this will help you or not, but here's how I have done it.
During the winter we keep our house fairly cool to save heat. I've found my hips need to stay warmer than the rest of me. A light blanket feels good ... but a skirt is more portable.
So for warmth, I took to wearing skirts of varying lengths in cool weather, over heavy tights or sweatpants. By the time spring came, my skirt-wearing was well established, so it was relatively easy to continue wearing skirts either with or without knee socks, tights or stockings (I don't care for pantyhose).
Now a skirt around the house is the most natural thing to me. My wife and I shop together (yay, Salvation Army), and she often finds me the prettiest ones. Just got two new ones yesterday in fact. My problem isn't skirts, but room in the closets! But that's a whole nother story.
Maybe, even if you can't ease into it the way I did, you can find a similar opening wedge and go from there. Good luck,
Robyn Katie

Don't go crazy!
Congrats Kittie.
Now that you got that far, don't go crazy about it. Pace all the time you're in a skirt with the better half. If she tells you she doesn't want to see you in today or whenever, remember this is all about compromising. Also, just because she's letting you wear a skirt, it doesn't mean she wants a fashion show. Now we might
but she may not. Lastly, don't go out of your way fishing for compliments on how nice you look. You're better half may have an entirely different view than what you're hoping for.

Re: Don't go crazy!
That was precisely what I followed when I wore last night. I hope to get my own better fitting skirt today. The one I wore last night was my wifesDavita wrote:Congrats Kittie.
