Analise-aka-Rik

Post by Rik »

Ok here goes, my name is richard, im 30 n live in Cheshier (NW UK)
When i first realised i was a CD i looked for forums ect...this was the 1st i came across, and boy am i glad, this is the most friendliest place i ever came across.
After reading many posts i noticed every1 had a femme name, so i picked 1 for myself in an effort to fit in. - Analise..i love this name however when i CD i dont feel like a different person, im still the same person, just with different fashion sense.

After much consideration i have decided to use my real name (rik) - Why...because i feel i am still the same person when i CD.

I realise this is quite diferent from many of you, but i hope my decision wont change the person that you have come to know.

I am me, aka Rik, least for the time being, and i love to CD, i hope no 1 here will treat me any differently because of this as i feel i have made a few special friends here.
There can be only one!

Rik is fine and noone ought criticize you for it. There are other people here who use their male name, and mine is purposely gender neutral.

I also feel like I'm the same person, even though in other respects I've felt like I've been several different people in my life. It's just that CDing is perhaps a common thread for all of them.

I love using my "fem" name as much as I can, but, of course,
if you feel more comfy using "Rik" than Rik it should be.

Rik, You have to be comfortable

We should try to make you comfortable. How are we providing support if we reject you? What else can we do for you?

Hey Rik do what makes you comfortable. I am in the same boat as you as I feel basically the same not matter how I am dressed. I always feel like my guy self, just sometimes I feel more feminine. The most interesting feeling I have ever had is being on a roof in all guy clothes shingling and feeling oh so feminine. What can I say I can be a strange CDer at times. But we all are strange at times.

I have thought about changing my name to a guy name and maybe some day I will. But for know I am just kimberly-CD, joe in a skirt.

I am a physically male person that likes to wear feminine clothes at times.
Just trying keep a balance for my self along with keeping my wife and kids in mind.

The real person is the one inside that earth suit called flesh and bones. To thine ownself be true. May peace and happiness find and overtake you what ever name you wish to use.
So I concluded that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to enjoy themselves as long as they can. People should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of there labor, for these are gifts from God.

You've got to be comfortable with your name, Rik, on here or anywhere else. I do like your femme name--are you going to keep the name Analise in the picture gallery?

I think Rik is just perfect.

My SO suffered some wicked confusion in trying to figure out what to call me. So..we decided that for the sake of her sanity, Andrea is spoken of as the entity who is my female presentation and that seems to work well for us.

And I get to act slightly psychotic when I say something like "Hmmm we like this!" or "Andrea loves this!"

We are having a lot of fun with it. Even though I know it is all just me.

So, a name is just what we use to avoid yelling "Hey you!" For me, names have a flavor and a color that defines, in my mind, the person it is attached to. I know no one else named Rik and combined with your avatar pic, you have a uniqueness that is yours alone.

Andrea
And it feels like me...On a good day

no problem babes. i don't feel like a different person either.......i think some different elements of same person. in the world i always use my real name of course because that was the name my sister gave me (yes my sister named me when she was 11) and this may sound transphobic but I always thought a name was a very special thing. thats why i don't get when parents give their kids names that lots of people have without trying t at least make it more unusual becausea name is a gift that your parents wanted you to have plus i think gendering names is silly. girls and boys can be called anything.
there is a website with the funniest things people have called their kids and someone named their baby Geography......i know right wtf?
I'm calling my first born a gender neutral name well not so much gender neutral as after a demon from deathnote: Ryuk.
I just like to be called Dante on here as its nice to play at being a boy good fun but i totally get what you mean.

Rik, if thats the name you want to use it really makes no difference. I mean we're not talking to the name but the person so...

I mean me, I think its not the title or the appearance of the person that matters, its the actions that do.
