I have practiced my feminine voice by decreasing the resonance and making the basic pitch to F of G. The result is a bit weak voice that gets tired very easily. Finnish women speak with rather low voice, maybe beacause of the nordic equality of sexes.

Of course I have to change my intonation, which is propably the most important and difficult thing for me. I have not used my female voice publicly, but maybe in near future I'll do it.

Over the phone, I can convince some I guess since they refer to me as ma'am. However... once they ask for my real name and I give it to them em........ things get ruined........

As for the in person thing, I dont know. Never asked anyone raelly. And my voice changes depending on a lot of things so.

But hey if I can have a permanent fem voice why not

I've seen just about every one of CandiFLA's videos and while I'm quite impressed with what she's done with her voice, I'm not sure the approach is a healthy one for all to try.

I've recently become more than a little excited about Kathe Perez's VFT programs. But her fees are not what any of us would call pocket change. (Yes, I do have one of the three CDs and will be getting the other two as well). So If any have gone through her program(s), I'd be keen to hear from you as to how it went.
