Opinion about me

Post by NieA »

I said somewhere here that ive just totally lost my motivation on losing weight and its I dont know, I feel my bone structure just freakin sucks that even if I do lose a bit more its not gonna help. Of course I freakin WANT to believe that it can but... logic tells me otherwise

seriously though, just sticking to the physical here and being objective, you think it can 'help' me pass (or look less of a guy) if i lose a bit more weight or this approach is already futile, I mean with shoulders like that??

just a thought, it wouldve been nice if theres like some operation that can adjust your bone structure but I guess that part is impossible hohohohoho

and yeah my pajamy is inside out...

thanks for the input in advance

I think you look very good right now.
I think that when you get all fixed up with make-up and
such, you are going to be surprised to see just how pretty you
really are.

Loosing too much weight, might not be good.

Doesn't look like you have any weight issues. Heck, I weigh over 200 lbs and have large shoulders from swimming, and large arms from manual labor. Your a girl compared to me ;)

Your biggest issue is the arms and hands, and there's nothing you can do about them, other than hide them. Longer sleeves, and more flowing sleeves. And extended nails with a pink color possibly.

I think you look very slim and can probably pass.
I can't pass doesn't mean I give up wearing boys stuff which makes me happy. i think if you work at it most people can pass unless you are a really huge guy or a reallly little girl like me lol. I know hoe you feel though i often look in the mirror and feel very small and meak and powerless and think I should be more striking.

NieA,

I agree with Donna and Karen. You do not need to loose weight, I think you need to concentrate on wardrobe and appearance. Have you a wig? What about makeup? Have you taken the time to experiment with these thing that will transform your appearance? I bet if you try you will be amazed at what you see. You should give it a go and then post to the gallery and let us see what your feminine side looks like after the makeover.

I would love to chat with you some time

Hugs,

Erica

HI NieA,

First Donna failed to point out she shoots a mean stick too! (pool!)

On a more serious side, I am not sure where you are from but some make-up sales outlets like Merle Norman will give you a "make-over" including tips on how to do make-up. Of course they expect you to buy something that they offer. If you pursue that route, call first and ask if they work with transgendered folk and also when would be the best time to come in and who do you ask for. You will be surprised as I am sure you would not be the first to ask that. Some beauty shops also offer that service as well. You can also go the department store route as well, but unless you have an "in your face" attitude, you know you will be out in public in an aisle with lots of folk going by, but if you do you will find the sales ladies falling all over each other to help you out. Most of the major lines of cosmetics have "counters" in the major department stores. I went to the Seporia and other than the fact that their stuff is very high end, I got some good pointers from their rep!

As for your weight, note that GG's come in all sizes and shapes and weights. As a former world champion in my sport, it is the old adage, "how bad do you want it!?" Diet and exercise, but you have to be willing to "git 'er dun!" as that whack-o redneck says!

Judging from the picture you look pretty good. Of course there are the good and bad about losing weight, the good is more shopping and the bad is more shopping!!!

Keep us posted,

Virginia

NieA,

You look very nice in that picture. Based on that picture I wouldn't say that you need to lose weight, and I'd also comment that you seem to have assembled an outfit that deals with trouble spots for all of us.

One, as you mentioned, is arms and shoulders. Although a side photo might be less forgiving, yours look to have nice porportions. I have GG friends who are fairly athletic who seem to have bigger shoulders than you.

Another which you didn't mention, is torso length. Men's greater height comes from a longer torso, not longer legs. You seem to have addressed that also.

With just one picture of course it's hard to tell, but you seem to look great. I too have large shoulders and arms, an aside from my beard and face my biggest tell is my forearms and hands. But shoulder and arms can be made less obtrusive by proper selection of tops. I've accepted that in a cami on a hot day, I look like what I am. In a long sleeve sweater however the shoulders are no longer an issue.

Virginia is a very active weight lifter. Look at her pix, and you will see how she addresses this in femme garb.

Wish I looked so nice! And so fem. No kidding, your look is very persuasive.

If you like, you can check the web for tips on how to deemphasize wide shoulders, make arms look thinner, etc. through choice of dress. Plenty of genetic girls have that problem too.

Meanwhile, congratulations on a great look. Get yourself some pretty tops.

Well losing weight is always helpful, but most GG have a bit of pounds on them...personally, from that photo you look rather slim. Honestly, if you're really worried about the broad shoulders, try adding some padding to your hips and butt. This will even you out a bit and make your waist look narrower. Additionally, a waist cincher or other undergarment can squeeze the little bit of love handles (like i have) into a narrower shape.

Honestly, your body shape doesn't seem bad. Focus on the things that GG have lots of practice on: makeup, hair, and clothes. Most women can't help what shape God's given them, but they DO have control over those topics to make up for it. =D>

Maybe some other time I can post a head shot and ask for some help on that area, but maybe when I get access to the not so public area.....

Also, I do not mind at all if people are to point out my bad sides, I can use that info to hide em afterall.

Hands
My hands yeah I guess not, but I can always hide them in some other way hohohoho like behind my back or cross my arms or something hihihihi

Sleeves
As for my arms, whenever possible I always go for long sleeves, im pretty hairy too so even if i get rid of the hair there its still... so simplest solution hohoho is yeah long sleeves - just a bit hot during summer time, god i freakin hate summer!!!

Hair
I dont have a wig, my hair is almost 2 inches away from my waist, just tied it back so you can see the proportions clearer.

Makeup
Havent really had that much time to experiment, but maybe I will try a few new things every now and then.

As for makeup I guess the simplest way is to just post a pic some other time, i guess thats not so easy to explain with words.

Genetic
I have observed that there comes a point when fat boys and fat girls actually appear very similar. The lower end however I guess is less forgiving since its bone to bone I mean triangle still vs the inverted arghhh but oh well ok too much talking for me.

Dont you just... love seeing genetic girls who are more masculine than men, i guess thats evil but... somehow, I jsut freakin love the US even more for their genetic girls... if I was in asia damnnnnn!!! hohohohoho

Tops and shoulders
I have read in the past that one way to deal with broad shoulders is to wear a plunging v-neck top. in theory it seems plausible...

Hips
I have been thinking of getting that veronica thing to deal with the hips, but I am still waiting to be final with my weight and measurements. maybe when I lose this hated tummy... I mean hey, even genetic women wear those em.... things when their hips or butts suck

All
Thanks all for the input ill look into the rest as well that youve mentioned

Stop worrying so much about your shape. GG come in all shapes and sizes. Your clothes, makeup, hair, and mannerisms are the biggest giveaways. You can pad and squeeze your body to make it more feminine than some GG, but it's those areas that are easier to control that'll give you away more when trying to pass.

As the gals here have told me, you should care less about passing and just enjoy it. Confidence makes it easier.

when I think of why I care about this its not really about pleasing others, I think, its more like... Im attracted to girls so I have a concept on what a... ... what a nice girl is like and when I apply that to myself I... its like i want to look nice through my own eyes

to mine im not and i just want to look better somehow, someway, i guess i feel so freakishly insecure about my physical being. when i was just a normal guy i never gave a crap about how i looked but now that im in the game that i want to be in... its like different, it actually i dont know means something to me and.... argh

Hi NieA--
A plunging neckline is not going to help, unless you have real cleavage there. I have arms and shoulders like yours, and I have to be very careful about the straps I wear. They can't be too wide, and they can't be sleeveless. The top you're wearing in the picture works fine, it really does.
I have to make sure that whatever I wear, it comes over the shoulder just a little. But no further than what you're wearing there.

Ironic that in high school I felt like I had to hide my upper arms, because they looked too girly to me. No matter how much weight lifting I did, my upper arms never "bulked up" in guy fashion. Now I'm glad about that.

My arms are OK bare, and yours can be too. They look fine, as long as they're shaved. The hands--well, not much can be done about them.

I guess the plunging will never work for me then hohohoho coz I am flat. Oh well, im asian anyway so I guess emmmm Ive some minor excuse em... ehhhhh...

yeah, it was funny i used to go for strength back then and all... em and now I want to be as soft as jelly.

anyway, i cant really wear short sleeves coz ive got some bad scars on my arms so... at times i use arm warmers though

Hi NieA
I have to agree with the others, from what I see in the pic you look just fine. Some make up and cute skirt to go with that top and think you would be good to go
