Here's a question for crossdressers and their SOs . . .

I've asked Ed about wanting curves, he says he's quite happy without them! Good thing too, with that Veronica 111 being way over our budget!
Interesting thread...Ed first told me he had a fetish for female clothes (sweaters and satin), then started wearing my panties, with my knowledge, a year or so before telling me about the CDing. He denied he was a crossdresser when I asked him, saying he only had a fetish, and it was just a fun thing, wearing the panties.

I bought my husband an new "butt" for Christmas! He has no butt what so ever. Now he says that I need to add some hips to the panties because with the butt part padded, it doesn't quite look right not having hips. He's too square in the region.
Oh yes, and I don't think the panty thing means he's a cross dresser. Just like those who have other fetishes, like say feet or shoes. I have a thing myself about men's dress clothes. I love suits, shirts and ties. Not wearing them but putting together the ensemble and buying them. Doesn't mean I'm a cross dresser but I would say that I have a suit fetish. And don't get me started about a tuxedo!

CJ,
You're naughty! Trying to tease me or something?! Tee, hee. My husband told me this morning he needs to go buy a new suit and then made a comment at how I must be delighted since I get to go with him and pick it out. When I asked him what he was implying, he said I'm really a cross dresser in denial and then he laughed his head off. I then explained to him that it's simply a "fetish". We both chuckled...

Longure??? or did you mean Lingerie (French word, correct spelling)?!
Hey, ladies - remember there is such a thing as Spell Check (available in almost all tool bars) and using it can make a big difference in our interpretation of one's thoughts.

Hi Silverlady
Let me see, I have been on this forum for approx. 4 months and
you have "punished" me (I think) maybe 3 times.
1. I capitalized 3 or 4 words in my post and someone said "don't
yell at me" and of course you agreed with that person. I apologized.
I mentioned this on another forum, and 100% of those who responded
couldn't believe this. Of course, the other forums are trash compared
to this "classy" forum. (with a Rose)
2. My avatar showed a blonde girl saying "I'm stupid." (in case you
don't remember) I believe Virginia wrote that she didn't feel that
this was appropriate showing a blond saying I'm stupid. So NATURELY
you sided with her, It did not matter what I said. I mentioned this
on another forum and the same as above, no one could believe that
this had happened. Of course, the other forums are junk compared
to this forum with the Rose.
Now I am punished for mis-spelling a word. I don't think that I will
mention this on the other forums because I could count many, many
words on just your forum alone to fill a battleship.
At any rate, I have thought about all of this and have come to the only
conclusion that I can logically come to.....YOU DON'T WANT ME ON
YOU'RE FORUM. I can't understand WHY, but you don't.
So, If you want me off, take me off.
Good luck to you and this forum in the future. I have never felt
anything but GOOD FEELINGS FOR THIS FORUM but for some
reason you don't feel the same.
Hugs to all of you
Karen
P.S. I never, never mention the name of any forum, ever.

I believe it is up to each individual to define himself as "a crossdresser" or "not a crossdresser".
I'm guessing there are a lot of men out-there who would find the idea of trying on their girlfriend's panties during passionate foreplay very sexy- but really how many of those would actually identify as crossdressers? :D

Gender is not something that one is, it is something one does, an act… a "doing" rather than a "being". (Judith Butler)

Hay Karen,
Look SL has taken this old gal to the wood shed many a time for something I have said or done
, I don't have any hard feeling about it . Wow I have been around this forum for who knows how long and we all get upset now and again when we think we are being picked on
Carol is still here and will speak her mine on what ever the topic is and if I upset someone and get called on it so be it. But I have never had the feeling I wasn't wanted on this forum and I don't believe SL or anyone else feels you are not wanted.
Hay I still love you as my sister

Hi Karen,
It seems that you are a bit conflicted, either with this forum or with yourself or possibly our rules and for that I am truly sorry. Perhaps we are a bit more "structured" than other forums, but most of our sisters who have come to live within our confines have not only prospered but have grown and most even though struggling have found many friends and even acceptance of themselves and have gone on to help others who are struggling with this "gift" we possess.
Yes, I took acceptance to the somewhat misdirected premise that "blonds are dumb!" Ain't so!!!! This blond was a Naval Aviator, a world champion in a chosen sport and like the old adage, "it ain't braggin if you can do it"--- an IQ that qualifies for MENSA.
Scientific evidence confirms that "we" are on average of well above normal IQ"s and reading the posts and having personally met many of the members of this forum I would confirm that!
As for my or for that matter any of my sisters' communication skills, we seem to get by, however there are a few accepted norms and we try to abide by them.
We have all had our feelings hurt here - heck, I have been taken to the proverbial "woodshed" so many times I think it has been named for me!
But here we are, a consummate family, a sorority if you will. We would love your participation, so don't take things too personally! You have a long way to go to match my trips to the wood shed.
Love,
Virginia

To Carol Ann, Virginia Susan and Silverlady
Also to Alexandra for messing up your thread....Sorry
Thanks to all for writing. I appreciate your comments.
One thing I feel that I have to try to explain. I picked that avatar because I felt that I am the stupid one...none of you. Even tho I am 67 years old and have been a crossdresser for almost as many years, I am very new to the internet, computers and CD forums. This is the main reason I had wanted to join a forum, to try to learn. In doing so, I have made a few mistakes and once I calm down I'm sure that the things that SL has commented on, in reality, is helping me.
So to all of you.....I'm very sorry and I WILL do better in the future.
Again, sorry for using the blonde avatar, I really never meant to hurt anyone.
All of you are right, this is a very fine forum and I appreciate you allowing me to stay.
A P.S. to Silverlady
I'm sorry for the hassle that I caused you. I'm sure that you work very hard on this forum and you don't deserve this aggravation.
Love and hugs to all of you
Karen

No apology necessary to me. The only point I really want to make is that do not judge anyone by how they look, None of us can help what attributes we are born with, Yes I have blue/grey eyes and my hair used to be the colour my wig is before I started going grey, I had no choice in this. God did give me high intelligence which I value highly as it helps me understand somewhat this amazing universe we live in.
I have travelled on every continent on Earth (apart from Antarctica) and I have met men and women of every colour and creed. I have found good and bad in all of these and in my experience there are far more good people in this world than bad. I have many personal experiences I could share if you pop into the chat room some time I will be pleased to share them with you.
Best wishes to you and yours
