How many of us keep a handbag?

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

I have a little one with a shoulder strap I use to carry keys and cell phone in on my evening walks, since my dresses and skirts don't have good pockets. Kind of fun, but it would be a pain all the time.

I think the biggest pain with my purses is having to keep adjusting it to stay on my shoulder.

My wife had a nice Coach leather bag that she got as a gift. She carried it for some time , then got tired of it, and retired it when it got a small stain on it. I came across it while looking for something to carry my art supplies in. I haven't taken an art class in over a year, but I'm still carrying the purse. I don't go out dressed, so it's one of the few overtly feminine statements I make. It is round, not square, so definitely a woman's bag, even though it is leather. The only thing is, it's rather large. I feel awkward carrying it into stores. Somehow, I associate a man in a store with a large bag as a shoplifting suspect. I know I'm being paranoid, but it limits the amount I carry the bag. I really need to look for a smaller one.
I am a vessel of the Goddess. Let me express my calling to a feminine life through nurturing love and relatedness.

I use my handbag always outside my home, that's the only way that occurred to my mind to keep my purse, handy and makeup with me as I wear a dress.

Ditto to what DonnaT said - both times.
