I forgot.....

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

I forgot.....

Post by Karren Hutton »

I was a member!!!

Just did a search and Crossdressers-forum poped up and I clicked.... Amazing how many brain cells I have destroyed since I have been on last...

So why do brain cells come and go but fat cells last for ever??

So how is everyone?

I'm still doing what I love to do. Just not as much of it. Seems like I don't really care if I dress that much or at least I am no longer covered in pink fog... and the chances aren't there much as they used to be. But hey.... I still get out enfemme every few months.... or so....

I have become a supermoderator over at Makeuptalk.com.. (over 2 years ago) They totally accept us girls that love anything makeup... And makeup is my passion... Even though I don't dress much I still seem to be obssessed with makeup and fashion.... Every day... Some days it seems that I have changed from a crossdressers to a collector of feminine things?

I'm still playing ice hockey...

So just thought I would drop a note and sy hello for everyone... Pop over to Makeuptalk or I'm also always on FaceBook it seems...

So what's new?

We're doing great, hon. We've been in our mountain home for just over 1 year now, and we love it no matter the season; we can see at least 5 mountain ranges from our living room (awesome!). House and property looks completely different from last year, seems like owning a home means you're always working on it, but it's a labor of love for us.

Have you heard anything from our friend, Emily? She's been away from the forum for quite some time, too, and we've wondered how she was doing.

((Hugs))

That is so great for you guys! Which mountains? We paid off our mortage last year and I'm starting to re-remodel things I remodeled decades ago.. Now were going to add on.. Lol. Never ending...

You know Emily's wife found out and they had a rough time leading to a nasty divorce.. Em moved out on her own.. met this woman who was really accepting. And everything was looking up till she bought an old motorcycle. She got into an accident coming home from work. And have severe brain damage. Had a long recovery.. I have lost track of her since I abandoned Yahoo 360 and rarely get on yahoo IM any more. Really sad.. I hope she is doing ok..

Green Mountain, hon. We knew that Emily was going through a nasty divorce (we went to her daughter's funeral - what a travesty that was for Emily), and had an accepting girlfriend. We heard from someone that she was in a motorcycle accident but nothing else . . . didn't know it was that bad. :( We do hope the gf didn't abandon her, because we know that only her daughter was accepting of Emily and she'd need family and close friends for an injury of that magnitude. We'll have to see about chatting her up.

Oh yeah, Rikki!!! Took last season off (3 months) but I'm back on the ice.. First game was last week and we came back from being down 3-6 to tying it up with 30 seconds to go after we pulled out goalie! God I'm sore after being off so long! Lol.

Hi Karren--
Good to see you on here again--we kept the porch light on for you. Ice hockey, eh? You don't need to worry about burning calories if you participate in that sport. I would have liked to have played, but it wasn't big in Ohio when I was growing up. Nice profile pic, by the way!

Thanks Anita! Your too sweet! Its never too late to lear,! Get your skates and head on down to the Metreon! I loved skating there.. I grew up in Michigan and went to college up on Lake superior so I got into big time. But after moving to WV... That all went away.. Just got back into hockey 6 years ago and its a total blast!!

Sorry, Hon, I think it is too late to learn. About 5 years ago, I took my friend's ten year old to Berkeley Iceland, and we were skating around the circle (cue up Strauss' "Skater's waltz" here). I stood still for a moment, to take a picture of Max. WHAM! I went down head over heels--I'd never hit that hard. I decided right then and there that working (and eating) came before getting disabled on the rink.

But I can watch the San Jose Sharks self-destruct in the playoffs each year.

Awww. If first you don't succeed... Lol. The Sharks seem to becoming famous for that! They get anyone in the draft? Or free agency?

Hi Karren,

It's great to see you back!

I don't stop by the old usual web hangouts as often.

I've become more involved with a number of things, including several friends from a local support group, photgraphy/Photoshop classes, building/maintaining a church computer lab using mostly Linux computers, and doing computer repairs for others taking computer equipment as payment.

I'm going to try to stop by here more often.
