Monday Morning Shopping Trip

Hello ladies!

Hit the big mall this morning in my usual androg look, but tried something new with the footwear...I wore brown peep-toe flats with brown patterned trouser socks, I hear this is "in" nowadays and it looke dcute with dark blue women's boot-cut jeans.

Anyway, went into a Trade Secret looking for a few things and first stop was the OPI nail polish display and I bought the greatest color..."Brisbane Bronze" from the Australia collection. A deep, dark bronze...give it a look!

Also bought a couple other things and then went into DSW shoe warehouse...not much seemed to catch my eye, except these peep-toe boots, heaven help me I really liked them, but they looked like they would be a chore to try on, but never one to shy away...

I found a pair of 11's! could not get them on! The sales girl walked by with a smile and told me they also had wide-widths...I found a pair of 11 wides and got them on and I admit I loved them, but the finances were not there (no 3 digit shoe purchases before christmas!), but I will be back after the holidays for those!

WOW!!

sounds like a great day to me! I understand what you mean about 3 digit shoe prices....I am a total shoe hound! I'd love to see what those boots look like in person....Might have to slip down to DSW and check them out.

Three digit boots - you mean for those with three toes?

I cannot imagine peep toe boots. Doesn't seem to visualize. Maybe a link?

Monday mornings are my usual shopping day at the local mall.

Last time I was there I came out of DSW with some brown suede platform pumps but still don't have a pair of boots of any kind, except a pair with a broken zipper, so I guess they don't count.

I also will be curtailing my shopping until the new year. Unless....
