really cute top

Post by Ralitsa »

I just came back from dinner, and as I passed the mirror I looked at myself and thought, "that is a really cute top I'm wearing."
I'm wearing a periwinkle knit longsleeve top, it's a bit cool and rainy tonight, with a longish wool skirt. I didn't really think too much about it when I put it on before going out, it was just handy so I wore it.
This is what I really love about my clothes, I can be happy about how I look.
OK, I just wanted to say that :)

I bought a stripy top from H&M which is very cute. I'm not very good at tops. I get emotional over skirts and dresses and even coats and very emotional over shoes but when buying tops it's a mechanical process really... Until I saw this top in H&M and bought about five ion different colours.
It costs a fortune to look this cheap!

Hi Tara,
I see you're in Reading UK. I'm in Reading, Pennsylvania right now, "the other Reading".
I agree, I get more excited over skirts and dresses, than tops. But sometimes I find one that I really like and have to have.

Hi Sophie,
so is the affinity for knit sweaters a scottish thing?
I really love nice sweaters with a plaid wool skirt too, and I'm not even scottish. Right now I'm wearing a plaid wool dress with a turtleneck and sweater tights, it's perfect for winter. I just love the classy, yet comfortable and casual look of a nice sweater with a wool skirt.
