Zari, The nursing home has reported that she will not be admitted to the hospital at this time. Antibiotics starting with a shot and then oral administered will be tried first. I wasn't there to catch that Mom was having trouble as I have been in the past. I can usually get action before things get serious since I call it to nurse attention as soon as she notices it.. They will monitor her for few days, and if it doesn't clear up, she will likely go back to the hospital. Hopefully she will not have to. She nearly died when it got so bad in 2007.

Thanks for the good thoughts on her behalf.

Carolynn,

Just want to add my word of congratulations and wishes for a speedy recovery, as well as my hopes that your mother will improve and recover fully.

Looking forward to the time when sitting is just fine again, so we can treat ourselves to more of your great posts!
