Makeup and nails

My wife and I decided to spend this Christmas Eve together, doing our nails, toenails and makeup. We manicured each others toenails first. My wife has little feet with perfect toenails. I have to really focus painting her tiny toenails due to my giant boxer manhands.
It was the first time I did my toenails. She had to glue the big toe and second toenail on me before painting all my toes. She colored them OPI "I'm not really a waitress." I love it and cant stop looking at them. Her color is "an affair in red square".
Makeup is one of our favorite endeavors. I color hers with dark mauves, which she likes now. Copper is also one of her favorites. We love to watch the MAC tutorials and I am getting good enough, and have her confidence, to do her eyes and face. Those darn fake eyelashes are hard for me to do though.
We are sitting on the couch watching Ghost Adventures, I am in a pink silk nightgown, she is wearing her long warm cotton nightgown. What a great Christmas eve, because all the kids and family are coming tomorrow. The quiet alone time will be over.

Good for you Vivian! My wife and I seldom have the time to pedicure together, but we always compare each other's toes!

She is sporting OPI "Purple with a Purpose" right now and I am wearing OPI "Red" (and bored with it!)...need a pedicure, but son is home from school for the week so that's a no-go until next monday!

I tend to favour blues on my toes with a bright turquoise my favourite. Since I started painting my toes, my wife has shown an interest too. I am bare nailed for the winter now to give my nails a rest for a few months. Should be in good condition for the warmer weather.

Vivian, that sounds just like my husband and I sitting around watching tv and doing our nails. He is much better at it than I though. Sounds like a lovely Christmas!

Thank you, I was so bad when I started, but my wife was really patient showing me how to paint nails, without fingerprints and smudges. The eye makeup has really been fun also.

Vivian, I have to thank you because I never thought of having him do my make-up. I always do his...so yesterday I asked him if sometime when were going out he could do mine. I think it will be fun, and maybe have him work on doing it himself a little more.
