pantyhose and/or tights
How to you prevent your pantyhose/tights slipping down and from gravity taking over. I am continually pulling everything back up.
So I concluded that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to enjoy themselves as long as they can. People should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of there labor, for these are gifts from God.

I like to wear the sexy panty hose with the 5 inch thick lace top with the rubberized backing that is supposed to help keep them up. When they would fall down under my drab pants at work I would put the breast form glue on them. It helped a bunch. I started wearing control top panty hose which hold everything in nicely without using a gaff. I realized that they were just as sexy as lace topped panty hose. Panty hose are soooo much fun.

Make sure you are wearing the correct size. The sizing on the package is only a guesstimation as is the same with any clothing sizes. If you are on the edge you may need to go up or down a size. Also as with all clothes just because you can put it on does not mean it is right for your body type. Different ones are made for different body types. Try some different styles or brands.

Yep. I agree with Kimberly, find the right size. The problem being that there does not seem to be a great degree of standardization between brands. Also, the more you pay, in my experience, the better they seem to keep-up!...up to a point.
Mind you still have to pull em up a bit :-)

Kimberly is right about getting the right size. And true too, to try different brands. For myself, Leggs brand is always too small or too short. Avenue for this big girl can actually run a bit big, but at least I'm not spending all day trying to find the crotch around my knees.
Okay, now what I didn't notice in this conversation is the simple rule about reading the sizes. They all tell you what weight range they fit and what height. So the rule. Pantihose stretch up and out, but they have a limit to each. The more you stretch up, the less you stretch out and visa versa. So with that, you can usually pair the high weight range to the low height range.
So let's say the pantihose say they fit 5' to 6' and 150 pounds to 180 pounds. This means if you weigh 180 pounds, the pantihose won't fit you any taller than you being 5'. If you are 150 pounds, then the pantihose will fit you as tall as 6'. So far this size check has proven correct for me barring a brand that just doesn't fit right on me.

Vivian it sounded like you were describing thigh highs, not pantyhose. At 6-2/215 lbs the thigh highs just aren't going to stay up on their own. Which is okay, I like garter belts. Pantyhose on the other hand seems to stay up just fine as long as I have the Queen 2 size.
For a while I had a pair of dancers tights. They held up far better than pantyhose, didn't get runs and that sort of thing, and were very comfortable. They looked almost like black pantyhose.

I find that it makes a big difference whether I've shaved my legs lately. I can only go about 2 days without shaving if I'm wearing pantyhose. It seems like the stubble has a tendency to push the fabric down. But when I shave and then apply lotion to my legs, the nylon sticks right to the skin and doesn't move a bit.
