Gwen here!
Hi all! Well, I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Gwen, a 44 year old man. Married with two teenagers.
I've worked in what I consider ultra masculine careers, first the Military then Law Enforcement for the past 25 years.
Needless to say, this interest is taboo in most circles I travel in.
What else to say? Well, my interested started early, and similar to what I've seen in other posts, it's been touch and go over the years.
I've gone from trying a few things on to the point now I want the whole look, shoes, lingerie and appropriate clothes (not looking like a tramp) with the ability to go out occasionally in public.
Of course that is a long way off. Well, have a super day! Sincerely Gwen!

Hi Gwen
Welcome to the forum, your career will ring a bell with many of us - its almost like we picked a so called macho career in compensation. I myself was a Marine Engineer in the UK Merchant Navy for seven years after which I took a Mechanical Engineering degree.
Its only a bit over two years since I first went out. I know now that most of our problems are in our own heads. I am now fully aware that I pass when I am out. This seems to be a natural progression in our gift.
Please join in the discussions, we value everyone's contribution. Come join us in the chat room and meet your sisters there.
Best wishes

Hi Gwen and
, you will find that many of us have pursued manly pursuits, whether as career of just as pastimes or sports. Personally I played Rugby at a good standard until I was 40 and have worked in many masculine dominated sectors. (Although at one point during my career I was a male model for a rubber goods company – now wash your minds out and relax I was a Michelin Man!).
I do not think that my cross dressing makes me any the less masculine, indeed I suspect that by releasing my feminine nature my masculine side is also more fulfilled. As you settle in and join in the conversations and the chat room here I am sure you will find echoes of your own situation in those of others, I am sure you will find the experiences of others help you as you progress on this rather worrying, but ultimately highly rewarding course.

Welcome, Gwen. We won't hold your ultra boy stuff against you. There are all kinds of girls in the world and you fit right in.

Hi and Welcome to the forum. It is good to have others form this area of the world here.
This topic is not only taboo in your work circles but also with the people in this area of the country. But I have found people much more tolerating and accepting when I am out and about than they seem to lead on.

I am a physically male person that likes to wear feminine clothes at times.
Just trying keep a balance for my self along with keeping my wife and kids in mind.

Hi Gwen--
Welcome to the forum. Part of me gravitated toward the military and the sports world, but the older I got, the less appeal it had. I've been in construction for many years, and I am glad I"m mostly self-employed, and don't work around too many others in the trade.
You can find a lot of friends and information here.
