In the early years before my wife knew about it I created hidden compartments behind false walls in the basement. removable floor boards in the attic and my favorit which I still maintain today is a secret compartment in the extra space above the top drawer in my chest of drawers. It's only 2" deep but I can hide things like pictures, letters from other CD friends ect...

Today my collection is way to big to hide anywhere. My kids have all moved out and my feminine clothes have taken over their old closets. If they come by looking for things that they might need or want I'm sure they have seen alot. I have one closet in the back bedroom which is now my office that is filled with my lingerie collection. My nightgown always lays in plain view on our bed. The kids all know their mother does not wear frilly lacy nightgowns. So who else could be wearing them?

The bottom line is, I don't care what they think or know. It's my life and I will enjoy it the way I want to. I'm not going to try to watch my back and hide everything under lock and key.

I'm sure what I do is no secret. I've been crossdressing most of my life and I've been caught by friends and family many times. I have found that when that happens it was always a bigger deal for me than for them. Nobody really cares and aren't going to say anything. I find that I have never lost a friend or love and affection from family because of it. I still try to hide it as best I can. I'm never going to through it in their faces. I just have learned to look at it as NO BIG DEAL!!
I am a better man as a woman with a woman, than I could ever be as a man with a woman.

Leeza,

You should have seen the responses I got when telling the entire crew at work that SRS was the answer to the worlds problems.

Some of the guys were interested to know more and some were very embarrassed. A very interesting reaction!

Yes, his comment did give me pause for thought!

I have found that people can trip over things for days and not notice it. My purse has been lying on the living room floor for quite some time and my wife just noticed it yesterday.

Hiding in plain sight. Most people are so self absorbed that they hardly ever notice change. And if they do, it does not register.

When I was hiding, I used to hide my things in plain view so to speak. I had my boxes mixed in with the other boxes we stored. I hid things under the bed with other boxes under the bed.

Now... There's no hiding. Thank goodness. I have too much to even try.

Yep, hidden in plain view, some in bedside cabinet, hanging in wardrobe, in chest of drawers, and in the only "me" places there is usualy a bag either in my office or car.

My wife and I share clothes so the closets and clothes racks have both our clothes mixed. I wear smaller skirts than she does (size 12) but way larger shirts so the mixture of different items, some mine and some hers are hidden in plain view. I wear all the sexy panty hose, short skirts and my shoes are a lot bigger than my wifes. She has tiny feet so my shoes are always in a box. All her shoes are usually out. I wear sexy nightgowns and my wife wears sweats but my girls, in college now, act like they don't notice. I always dress in drag on halloween, which is the only time anyone except my wife sees me in drag.

I just keep my feminine clothes in my section of the master bedroom closet along with my masculine clothes. I keep my panties by my briefs in my chest of drawers. Pantyhose goes on a shelf in my section of the closet.

I have no bras since I pass the pencil test - I place a pencil under my breasts and see if it falls to the floor - which it does. I don't have breast forms since I have natural B cup breasts, and my hair is long enough that I don't need a wig.

Almost everybody who knows me knows about the expanded selection of clothes that I wear so there are no secrets. :)

I actually go for walks around the neighborhood while wearing a dress and my wife sometimes goes with me while she is wearing pants.
I'm a genetic man who likes to wear skirts, dresses, and heels at times.
My wife wears none of those items.
Other times I wear men's clothing.

It depends on my mood and circumstances!

John (and I always remain John no matter what I wear!)

I have two dedicated drawers for my fem items and over half of my part of the walk-in closet is my fem clothing and shoes. I now have more fem shoes than I have male shoes. LOL

I used to hide things at my shop in the attic or at home under dresser drawers. Since the kids are all grown and on there own, I keep my things right next to my male things. Also in the closets in the spare bedrooms. Still have some things in the 5th wheel, just for storage. Once I had a portrait picture of me hanging on the wall in my office. No one ever asked who she was? Humm right in plane sight!

I hang my wardrobe in the closet and figure anyone looking would assume they belong to my wife. My other things I placed at the back of drawers we have in our closet, shoes back in a corner under the long dresses.

I keep my hanging garments in the closet between mine and my SO's clothes. Underwear and bras and such are in boxes in the closet, not to hide them, but only because I have no extra room in the dresser. (Have to fix that problem one day...)

Kyra
