Crossdressing Myths

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

Generally speaking, crossdressing men have a strong feminine side. Much like artists have a need to express their creativity through art, crossdressers have the need to express their feminine side through crossdressing.
I, for one, don't CD because of having a feminine side. I couldn't tell you the exact reason for needing to CD, other than being transgender, but I do know I don't have a feminine side.

I feel I need to cross-dress because I have a feminine side. It is a need that appears to have increased in recent years. I now wear feminine lingerie most of the time. It used to be just panties and bra now it is a cami instead of a vest and quite often tights (natural& black). I wear a dress or skirt when I can with a feminine top. My wife seems to accept this and understand it. I would go furter but have a beard!

I just do it to pretend I have hair again.

Good work, Wendae.

We here don't particularly need that essay, but the "outside" world does. We would do well to advertise this link.

What I was looking for was a rational basis for the CD urges. Still a mystery. I, for one, have stopped searching - I just sit back in my panties and enjoy it.

Hugs,

Lydia

Thanks Wendae, it's a nice link.
As mentioned previously in other posts, for me crossdressing is a masculine thing, wearing womens clothes precisely because I am not a woman. As such it is a form of play. Like hitting a ball with a stick, but different.

We are all different in how we feel but, as we age our views and feelings change. I think the stigma of being called a sissy or worse causes us to reject the idea that we have a fem side. I used to hate the color pink and frilly things now, I find wearing them more natural. The idea of having sex with a male horrifies me yet, I find my self watching fem/dom and what could be considered gay porn. I think some of us doth protest to much and at almost 70 I'm starting to regret not going for SRS when I was younger. Just a crazy mixed up kid still. :)
