Who and when changed the rules? We're supposed to be changing 1 letter of the word to form a new word . . . not rearrange the same letters (or change 2 letters as has been done recently)!

Posh --> Ship

Ship --> Pins (and not 'hips' ... same letters as 'Ship')

Pins --> Spit

Spit --> Spot (and not 'tips' or 'pits' ... same letters as 'Spit')

Spot --> Cots (and not 'pots' ... same letters as 'Spot')

Next person: Cots --> ???

Shot -- as in I shot an arrow into the air, it landed, I know not where.

(I thought the aim was to not exceed 4 letters but to make a different word, replacing only when necessary to keep things going. I thought the recent things were too easy and was going to suggest using 6 characters instead.)
