Part -- a stylistic separation in the hair, as opposed to a natural part; a item of smaller size that is used to make something larger; so separate as in to part a rope; a character in a play.

Tape . . . something women may be tempted to use to keep the 'seat' down!
{As for heat/high temps, bring it on! This GG just starts to get comfortable when the temps hit 90F (I rarely use the AC)
. . . and the furnace goes on when it drops to 70F (much to Virginia's dismay).

Gape -- Staring, in shock, in lust, adoration, or otherwise with a stupid, jaw dropped expression., and very openly.
SL, wish I could have sent you our summer temps. Weeks of 110, 61 days of over 100F degrees a new state record exceeding the old one by 11 days. Really gets old, especially when there is no rainfall either (the last significant rain in my neck of the woods of Oklahoma was in May). We have been under extreme drought conditions for months, and wildfires have killed 30+ people.
The death rate in the state has increased over the last 2 months, in part due to the stresses on weakened bodies of the already ill from the heat and from having to be shut-in because of the temperatures. Then there are the fools who try to stay cool with beer and a dip in the lake.
No, you can have the heat. I wanna live in Alaska!!!

Gale . . . force winds, mostly associated with tropical storms and hurricanes; BTDT with Cat 2-3 'canes, stressful, indeed, and the wind can sound like a whistle blowing!
