Birthday Treat
Last Friday was my birthday, I'm sure you are all too polite to ask which one, so I wanted to give myself a birthday treat. Since my 50th (woops there I go) I have been in the habit of taking the day off for my birthday and doing something special, the last few years I visited the RHS gardens at Wisley but thought I would have a change this year.
I had originally planed to go to the National Gallery in London, but spent so long getting ready that I ran out of time. Instead I went to the Dulwich Picture Gallery, had lunch there and spent most of the day looking at the pictures. Later I ran a few chores around the shops, and had a thoroughly good time, everywhere I went I was well treated, just like a lady should be.
I've got some photos here: http://paula-paulasplace.blogspot.com/

Hi Paula
Happy birthday, lovely pics of you in your blog.
I agree totally with your comments on the funeral. The LBD, & stockings look so poigniant, respectful & understated on such an occassion. Yet, still sexy. Unexpectedly for sad event.
No chance in male wear to make such a statement.

Happy Birthday, Paula.
In a way having a blog dedicated to the femme side of you encourages you to think more on the femme side. Looks like you had a nice time in Dulwich. I used to go to school there and years later went to the gallery with my dad. It is a good place to go for a special day out. Kind of like a village.
You seem to be doing your hair a bit differently, more conservative. or is that just me?

Thank you all for your wishes, yes well spotted Anthony my hair is different, but only mine in as much as I bought it
I had meant to write a small piece about this, it is a new wig, but for me the first that I have bought from a proper wig shop and been properly fitted for. A very gratifying experience, even if I did come away feeling a little light walleted. The excellent Mary at Fosters in Streatham sorted this out for me, I'm still not totally used to the colour and style change and get a little surprise when I see myself in the mirror.
