Eyewear Online

Post by ArleneMcCarthy »

I have needed to wear glasses for over 50 years, and IMHO glasses can be a fabulous fashion accessory, but they are so darn costly. Zenni and a few other opticians sell perscriptions online. Is the convience worth it ?

I have worn lady;s eyewear exclusively since 2002. I love my Vogue eyewear, but OMG the cost.

I have been thinking along the same lines but worry about the fit of the frame to the face. :-k

I'm blind as a bat without my glasses, and want to have a place where I try them on and make minor corrections.

When I first went out dressed I decided not to wear my glasses, that way I wouldn't see people staring or laughing at me; unfortunately I also couldn't see traffic, price labels or much else at all.

No, any eye place worth their salt will have to check the center to center distance of the eyeballs. And other things if one wears bifocals.

Note that when I bought my fem glasses, I simply went in to MyEyeDoctor and picked the frames. No questions were asked, and the total came to $100

There are a variety of places to get discounted glasses. I went that route with my 1st pair of fem glasses. Now I work out which pair of glasses will get new lens with the insurance.

My lens are high refractive glass (not plastic), progressive and I have photosun. Getting everything put into one set of lens saves who knows how many pairs of glasses.
