First Time Attending mass Enfemme - Thumbs Up
I went to Mass for the 5PM service. I went so well, no mean looks, or anything that I took as unfriendly. I was dressed in a baige pencil skirt & jacket, the skin came to just above the knee, nude hose, not that anyone at Mass could see, black pumps with a 2& 3/4 heel, blonde hair, very slight makeup, and Vogue brownish female galsses, plastic frames, and a baige clutch purse with a silverish metan chain. I'm including the way I dressed because I desire feedback, the more the better. The young lady who sit next to me, I was sitting in the nxt to last row of pews ahainst the wall, smiloes when she entered the row and during the hand shaking part of the Mass, as did the gentleman that she was with and two 40ish woman, who were seatedin the pew in front of our row. I don't recall if I shook hand with anyone in the row that was behind. I had no stairs or frowns upon entering or leaving the church, and on my way home, I walked both to & from church a older couple, smiled at me as we grew near. I didn't look back, after we passed each other, to see if they were wispering to each other. A lovely Saturday late afternoon.

I have two different churches I have attended an hour from where I live. I will combine church and a day out and about usually when I go. The churches have been very friendly. Even the one church that I was told was so conservative I had no problems at. My home church pastor also knows that I am a CD and does not have a problem with it. I believe most in my home church would be accepting, but considering some members have already struggled with other gender issues within the church I do not think it would be worth it for me to go to church enfemme there as I do not have a need to do it all the time.

Hi Arlene--
That does sound like a really nice outing, and I enjoyed reading about it.
So nice not to be getting the looks, although it's OK if I get some, too. It's just part of the overall picture sometimes.
With almost all beige, I'm not sure what I'd pick for shoe color. I like Donna's suggestion of bringing the purse in line with the shoes.
