While I’m at work the other day, this girl who is pregnant walks by and says, “Hey Pops, I’m starting to walk a lot like you”. (I’m 60 FYI). I just smile, but in my twisted mind, I’m thinking, “That’s because we’re both wearing panties”, but kept it to myself. LOL
Then My daughter calls. She just moved to Little Rock, Arkansas, and tells Mama Bear that for some reason, she was trying to get her SO Louis to wear a pink tye dye shirt that I made for her under his dress shirt and tie, (He’s an IT guy), and then proceeds to say, “How can you expect me to wear a pink shirt when I don’t even have panties to match?”. She tells him that she isn’t giving him her pink panties to wear.
I asked Mama Bear if this was a thumbnail of things to come and all she could do was shrug her shoulders. We both got a good laugh over that one.Thought it was a Pisser. Who knows, I may need to have “the Talk” with him but probably
Then Mama Bear and I were talking to Son & D-In_Law about a golf tournament some guys at work are talking about. It would be a fund raiser for Breast Cancer Research. It is going to be called, “Men In Dresses Playing Golf To Beat Breast Cancer!!!” The concept, (as you may have guessed), is to get to dress in public. No, just kidding. It is to get as many golfers to sign up to wear a dress and play 9 holes and get sponsers to pledge so much to a golfer and all the money goes to fight breast cancer. None of them are CDer’s , (That I know of...Hmmmm...). Remember, this is Arkansas, where if you watch a chic-flic, you MAY turn gay. Homophobia is rampant, and I could tell you girls stories, but alas, time won’t permit that sort of nonsense. We’re going to see where this will go. Hopefully, next year, I will have a positive update. (It’s too late to do it this year, but loads of time for next year ). Keep smiling and remember no animals were killed in the making of these lace panties.
