First pedicare
I wante to finally get a pedicure. This is something i wanted to do for a long time but never could get the nerve to do it. SO one day I looked up nail salons numbers and decied to call a few to see if they would do one for a male. A few said sure no problem and a few more or less just hung up on me. When they did say yes i would ask them what they did for a pedicure. As they explained what was all done a couple would even throw out and we finish with polish if you wnat or a clear coat or color its up to me. SO i decide to set one up. The next day I get their and walk in and tell them my name and the girl says it will be jsut a few min. Finally its my turn she leads me to a room and tell me to take off my shoes nad socks and put them in the water. As i take off my sock i had polish that i had put on , but the she did not say a thing. SHe asked me if i had ever had one and I told her no and she says well u should enjoy it as they are great to get. She has me take out my foot and procedes to take off the polish and askes me if i am going to have polish put on I say yes if it not a problem and she says she does not care. As she get done she aske me if i have something to wear besides my shoes I tell her no. She tells me if i wear my shoes it will smear the ploish and i shold not wear them so she get me these flip flop kinda of things to wear. I neer thought of this and i had a bright red polish on my toes. I figure since i am out of town I will not see anyone I know so I put them on and walk out to the counter. While i pay there are a few females and they can see my toes but not one person said a thing I did get a few smiles. I paind my bill and walke out showing off my bright toes. I have been bakc to the same lady several times and planing on going back tomorrw for another one

Yeah that "can't put your shoes on" thing caught me too, but I don't phase much. Good you were bold enough to just go with the flow; it would have been terribly disappointing otherwise. As for the smiling ladies let's hope they were smiling at your good choice versus being a bad choice. I believe it was the former reason. You may have been one of those rare guys for the smiling ladies; I say rare because we girls, no matter how much we think we are in virgin territory, we aren't.
Your experience reinforces what I say about us girls. You treat us right, we tell our friends and we return to spend more money. All those silly stores and sales people that can't understand that really lose out and ya know? They should. So glad you're enjoying one of those wonderful treats that everyone should get to experience.

Re: First pedicare
Getting a pedicure is really great. My feet used to be rough and scaly but after a few visits to the nail salon, they are now smooth and feel great. I always get mine polished in RED but then too, I always go en fem to get my manicure, acrylic fill, pedicure, and eyebrows waxed. My nail tech knew me when I used to come in in drab. The first time I came in dressed, she asked me what I should be called. I told her "JoAnn" and from that point one, all the techs great me as "JoAnn" and treat like any of their other women clients.
