Thats what I said, a real cynical piece. Gotta wonder what was happening the lives of the people who did it.

Presumably the creator's mother always said "if you don't have anything nice to say, turn it into a photo exhibit and call it art." The plastic people effect is interesting and looks like clever commentary on its own in something like the second photo. The series quickly undermines that surreal, thought provoking quality in a hurry. I don't mind a little cynicism if an artist has something worth saying. Here? Not so much.

I agree - when I saw this I thought -yuck! Nasty, nasty, nasty!

An hour later (I'm slow on the uptake) I found myself wondering how I would have responded if this had been a straight Barbie and Ken photoshoot in the same stylee!

Probably - Yuck! Nasty, nasty, nasty! :roll:
