I got a pair of yoga pants and a pair of capris at Macy's clearance rack, with 15% coupon both were about $18 total.
I got a LBD and belt with a JCP discount as they were having a dress sale. Faux wrap, military sleeves, above the knee.
This is a good time of year to shop, lots of possible bargains and few salespeople blink, and if you're shy, say you want a gift receipt.

I spent a couple of hours in an Avenue store, the only customer there and the SAs were friendly but busy and basically let me play dress up. I tried on many combinations of skirts, tops, dresses, and shoes. It was like being a kid in a toy store! I ended up buying a medium blue sleeveless knit dress with a kind of knotted front. I was completely surprised that it looked at all good on me as I usually wear much more structured clothes. And the best part was that it was on sale to begin with and they were having a 30% off everything sale on top of it!

Yeah, I definitely saw it Wendae. Nice boots.
As to me, I've been wandering round charity shops the last couple of weeks, trying out my latest wheeze for hiding my Adam's Apple. This involves buying polo-necks (obvious) and then some kind of feminine top to go with them. The polo-necks on their own are kind of boring and you can play all sorts of interesting games with vaguely matching tops with different colours and levels of detailing. And then you have to buy skirts to go with them...
All to the end of creating the image of a mature middle-aged lady, without being too showy.

Them boots weren't made for Walking! Anthony I like a polo neck for a casual look, I have a couple a black that I mostly wear casual and a lilac cashmere which also looks good with a suit, http://www.flickr.com/photos/67619019@N05/6319037888/ another variation here https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=B78AC089 ... &sc=photos
Both of these also get outings when I am in "Stealth mode"

New Dress
I bought this dress http://www.janenorman.co.uk/fcp/product ... colour=blu
I got it for half price too. I showed one of the SA's a couple of Susan's pictures and her comment was "She is prettier than me" to which I replied "I doubt it but thank you."
Its a very practical dress for this time of year as the body is of fine wool but the sleeves and scarf are of chiffon. I plan to wear it out in the next few weeks, I will try and get someone to take a picture.

Went to Catherine's to pickup a package I had delivered to the store, and saw an outfit I absolutely loved for my local TG group's March meeting. Green knit pants, green knit top, ecru tank top, and a printed sheer green/brown shoulder wrap. The sales associates were extremely helpful and courteous.

A Marks & Spencer samn pink dress and jacket suit ~ paid £8.50 for it in the Mind shop in West Wickham. I can't find a photo of it so I will just have to take my own!

I bought some 3 inch heel, black leather court shoes. Actually I bought them a while ago, but they have only just turned up. Great fun! Have you seen Bambi? I daren't try stairs with them yet as I suspect I'll go hurtling to my death! I think I'm going to have to practice a lot. I tend to prefer Mary Janes. Ginny x

I love shopping at GW and Walmart. I still go in guy mode. At GW I recently bought a skirt and blouse for $11. I use the male changing room. No one pays any attention. Photos will follow in a few days.
At another thrift store I picked up 2 pull overs for $8.00. Used the unisex changing room there as well.
Never had a problem with the folks at the register.
Walmart the same way. Bought a nice pullover for $5. Changing rooms are centally located and unisex. Self checkout is there for those that don't want to deal with a human

3 pairs of Vanity Fair granny briefs, white, pink, and black! Call me an old lady but I find the old fashioned panties just so much more comfortable.
