I love the pantyhose and shorts look. Glad it is coming back in style. Wish more women would get into it, especially my wife.

I am currently wear some short beige short with Leggs Sheer Vitality suntan pantyhose and it is 100 degrees here in Texas. I do not let the weather stop my pantyhose wearing.

I was wearing outside working yesterday w/o pantyhose and my legs were sticking together. Once I put on some Silk Reflection pantyhose, it felt much better.

Please let me know what yall think about pantyhose and warmer weather.

i just discovered the joy of short shorts and nylons. working in the back yard if a neighbor saw me in a short skirt it would be more awkward then being seen wearing shorts. they might wonder why my legs looked funny, but o-well.

Warmer weather has never stopped me from wearing pantyhose. When riding my motorcycle PH under my jeans keeps the hot air off my legs better than only jeans.\ and in cold weather keep the cold air from reaching my skin. Best of both worlds IMO

I do think the STW panty style does breath better than control top in very hot weather.

And Yes, I love wearing pantyhose with shorts, especially Daisy Dukes!

I don't have the shape to wear shorts, although the other day I saw a pair of shorts that were really cute and almost bought them. If I had shorts I would have to wear hose with them I just don't have the legs not to. In then end I think its up to individual taste. If wore hose with the shorts it wouldn't matter I'm not goine out in them anyway.

I saw a fair number of girls in shorts and tights in London recently - a few shorts and hose also but more opaque styles. More dark (like navy) than other colors but also black. Some seemed to be Asian tourists, others could have been locals but it was more common to see locals in short dresses or skirts if not in pants.

I welcome more legwear coming out - it's been a long time in this drought of "bare legs are best" women have advocated. Maybe they'll realize it's very hard to have very nice bare legs and some hose are a quick way for anyone to look sleek.

In the words of "The Mayflower Madam" Sydney Biddle Barrows, "Ladies always wear hose". I know I certainly do. I don't find them oppressive in hot weather, rather they tend to prevent heat rash, at least for me. They look very sleek with shorts, or anything else. Knee-highs tend to cause a "garter bulge" where they end on one's calf.

Na weather never to hot for stockings, I prefer a tight girdle and stocking over PH as to much trouble to go to the girls room. @@9@@

The character Red in Once upon a Time on ABC has worn dark tights and a pair of short jean shorts.

Yeah, I think you're about right for the percentage of girls wearing shorts and tights. I think the colour I most remember is opaque beige/brown. That seems to be a regular style thing here with shorts. My impression is that black comes off looking more of a throwaway "I had to wear something with my shorts and this is it".

London's a pretty hyper-competitive place (not just for how you look, but for just about everything.) - which has all sorts of variants. There is definitely an "attitude" of desiring to create an impression. Like you get less usual mixes of shorts and tights out of that.

On the Asian tourists vs locals thing. In some parts of London, it seems like most people you meet aren't locals. But there is a definite tendency to display which foreigners feel pushing on them. I remember one conversation with a girl from the EU who felt it was kind of excessive.

I think that's true, but with the competitive ethic here, I think some women feel obliged to go for the "high bar" of the bare legs look (or that's my impression).
