I find those comments very reassuring, as the last thing I would want to do is overrun the site with an alien culture, as that would be unfair at the very least, and probably a few other things..

I hope that I can 'add' to the site without changing things so much that the following doesn't happen?

But then there's the question of where exactly it leaves the members who have been here for a while, who don't have that style. I mean they still have valuable things to say, but they may fear that they kind of get forgotten because they don't say things that often.

If a member ever felt that way because of anything I have done, I hope somebody would send me a pm or a polite bashing in the forum is fine too I'd never intentionally do anything to cause that

Anthony, I think we tend to chat amongst ourselves, because we're new here and don't know anyone else yet. I don't think it will be long before we make new friends, and blend in quite nicely. None of us want to ruin a perfectly good site like this one.

i have to say i have already met some nice gals and had some conversations with them. and everyone has been very accommodating. one gal asked where in Brooklyn i grew up, another liked the haircut of my avitar. so i am confident this will continue and we will meld together

In the dark days when this site was very slow and we didn't have any new members (because of issues to do with automated attempted subscriptions that, once accepted, produced reams of spam) . . . Emphasis added by SL

True, we had automated attempts with subscriptions from spambots, an average of 70-100+ per day, and for that reason new registration was shut down.

Completely false, however, is the idea those spambot subscriptions were ever accepted and produced reams of spam. That did not happen, in any way, shape or form. I can spot a spammer or spambot registration even if it looks legitimate on the surface, which is why I had the registration shut down.

Hi After breakfast, shaving and checking E-mail I wind up here to see what people I think of as friends have to say. In the afternoon and evening I usually watch a romantic
