Hi Davita,
Thank you very much for taking the time to write.
The device I'm using is a thin client network appliance that isn't user upgradeable. When available, upgrades are downloaded by the service provider. There hasn't been an upgrade in a long time nor will there be any more forthcoming. Flash isn't upgradeable at all. I was aware of these deficiencies but thought I would try chat anyway... no dice.
As it is, it's good enough for basic needs; email and limited participation in a few forums...
I have an Apple laptop that I use for music(protools) but i never take it online. When my appliance goes kaput(could be any day now) I'll get something new for the net. Frankly I'm not looking forward to all the headaches that will come along with that...<smile>
Thanks Again
Cecilia(dinosaur)
P.S. Why did I say dinosaur? (This is just an opinion and not intended to be adversarial) Although I have several "piles of chips & plastic" that have 88 keys attached to them and other assorted mega sample "toys", none of them comes close to the performance of my Steinway B, and that technology reached it's peak about 100 years ago.
