I think the set is lovely too, but I'm puzzled.... I don't think I have seen any teen including older ones, wearing pearls. I'm trying to remember if I had considered wearing pearls those so many decades ago. I'm not trying to throw a damper into the wonderful choice; I'm just wondering.... If I were her, I'd still appreciate them and would be very happy that you got them for me.

Now Mr. Shawn.... if you're best-est friends, how is it you don't already know what she wants? [-X

Back in the middle ages when I was a teen, my first serious girl friend wore pearls. Two reasons, parents were loaded so she could afford to, and second she had class, unfortunately for me her good taste did not extend to men................

Just because you don't believe it, that doesn't mean it's not true

I thought pearls would be nice for her she's not a "showy" jewelery person. And as to why I don't know what she wants even though she's my best friend is because when I ask her she says I don't know and she never hints at anything : p
