Re: hair dye
Hi Kiera. I have my hair colored about once a month, though it is to hide gray hairs. The only reaction I have had is over the first three days when you are not supposed to wash it so the color will set. The reaction is a bit of an itch, and is better if the stylist will rinse the hair well. My color includes just a bit of peroxide and I think that is what affects me. Most hair color grows out rather than washes out, so take that into account. The temporary dyes I have had no experience with, but the ones I have seen people use (purple, blue, red, etc.) do wash out. All ligntening products usually have some peroxide in them, and are relatively permanent but you can recolor your hair to a darker color later. Rather than doing an entire hair color, you might consider having highlights added to your base hair color. That usually looks pretty cool.
Good luck.

Good luck.

Re: hair dye
Hey kiera,
.
I just started dying mine recently and I love it
. I've gone the other way tho, dying it jet black with permanent stuff. Even the darker dyes fade after a month or six weeks so I'm sure you could darken it up if you don't like it. They all tell you to do a trial patch too before you do the whole lot? I never do Tho, I mean who wants to look like a zebra for a day or two? Buahahaha
You're a cutie, go for it kiera .... it'll look good

Re: hair dye
hi kiera! have not had any experience other than covering gray! But my understanding is that u do a swath test to check for any allergic reaction to the dye on ur skin.
The fem side of me is ever evolving and growing.

Re: hair dye
Just thought I would give a little input. My first response
would be go have a pro do it. My second response is-
I remember seeing someone do my wife's hair without testing. (the stylist and I had a rather long conversation after that) hehe

Re: hair dye
I don't dye my hair at all, as in boy mode I actually rather like my grey, but both the other (female) members of the household colour their hair. Each time a small test patch should be done, I think it is a test on the skin rather than actually in the hair, a little bit at the back of the neck where it won't show should be fine. One day y wife did the test with a brand she had used several times before and still got a reaction, so it is worth testing every time.
