Manties and male bras

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

Manties and male bras

Post by Phil »

Is it just me or is everyone NOT into manties (silky, satiny frilly underwear designed specifically for men http://www.manties.net" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ) and the male bra (Japanese designed bras specifically for men).
When I wear lingerie I want pretty products designed for women, not over sissified sickening caricatures of the products I love.

Having said that ... each to their own!! :)

I for one would not be inclined to buy manties in place of girls panties, I think that it is another way of exploiting the men that like to wear this type of underwear at a cost far higher than you will pay from the high street shops. it's just not the same.

I think it's the price and having to buy them online, especially if they don't get much use. I have a couple of pairs of panties with ruffles on the butt, which were cheaper than manties.

First I heard of manties and male bras, but I'm not surprised, some Japanese designer came up with men''s miniskirts around 40 years ago. Went nowhere as I recall. They are on their own special wavelength over there.

I wouldn't buy men's lingerie on a bet, it doesn't appeal to me either.

I've also got 2 pair of ruffled panties (red and some neon blue shade) that I got at Target a few years ago. I only usually wear them with dance costumes.

I have never even heard of manties but I know I would never wear them. I am strictly a Vanity Fair classic Brief kind of guy, uh girl, uh whatever.

definitely not for me. they have all the same problems with other guy clothes: BOOORRRRRIIIING.

No, I like my pretty panties and matching bras and all the cute styles and varieties to shop through, seeing dozens that I want and only a few I can afford. Anyway, why would I wear guy undies with a dress?

Hi Ralitsa
The Manties I have seen aren't exactly boring. They have satin, lace and ribbons in abundance. It is just that 1. They are designed for men ( I want women's!) and 2. They are a specific genre only - a very elaborate and OTT sissy look which isn't my thing. I accept some girls like this but not for me.

And you are quite right, get a pretty matching underwear set for your dress :)

I'd heard of the japanese bra for men, but not the manties. They don't appeal to me, I'll stick with womens. As some have said, its less expensive (cheaper doesn't sound right!). I'm not into the sissy look.

Heard of Manties, never heard of a male bra. Do know there are male corsets, which are actually a good idea since they fit the male torso better as they work their magic. Would I pay extra for a fit that probably isn't better than women's panties on this old body? nope Would I get them because they are for sissies? I'm not a sissy; I'm a woman.

Ruffled panties? I've lost count of the ruffled pettipants and panties I have. I wore ruffled panties under my girl jeans for w**k today. My ruffled panties are from Lane Bryant too. I got one of almost every color they had in the time they were popular. I just love my ruffles like a certain girl on this site loves her bows :)

In my 20s I had particular problems with a slipped disc. The consultant recommended a corset to relieve the pressure on the back. I hated it. I'm sure part of that was my still really conflicted feelings about dressing up - I was absolutely aware that corsets were things that, generally, women wore. But the other thing was I just found it plain uncomfortable - and, after a bit, unbearable.

It didn't do my back any good. I needed some exercises for that. I actually have a corset I bought at a CD shop, but I haven't worked out how to use it properly yet - and the memory of that thing I wore in my 20's lingers (and I worry about doing my back in again if I constrain it).

They would take the cross out of dressing. Not for me.
