Reunion

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

Reunion

Post by DonnaT »

Our old high school had its annual all class reunion this past weekend, so there was a lot of facebook talk happening leading up to it.

My wife noticed that one person had the name I adopted for my femme name. She was a neighbor back in the day.

They met at the reunion.

I had to explain that I wasn't ever interested in her, but instead was interested in her majorette uniforms. 8)

I'm always amazed when my own wife shows concern in situations like this. She's such a strong, independent woman and I'm very much devoted to her — and yet it took her quite a while to get used to the fact that my closest friends have always been women.

She chose not to attend my 25th reunion, and it was a surprising trip down memory lane full of people I'd had crushes on, or had dated at one point or another. Thankfully she seemed pretty relaxed about it as I recounted the various stories after I flew home. Of course I did attend as a woman, and even after living this way 24/7 for most of two years I was still not quite sure what to expect. Thankfully it went incredibly well.
