Work is my sanctuary, from a dressing pov, of course. I work on my own a lot, spend an inordinate amount of time in my car, and keep my stash in the office so a lot of work days will find me in girly jeans, with underwear and girly socks on. I paint my nails, though mostly just clear on the fingers. I have some 'everyday' girly t-shirts that I can just about get away with - a bit of tinted lip-gloss and that's me as happy as a sand...girl (!) If I have to 'hide' I can just stick a fleece over the top and ta-dah, I'm normal again. Well... y'know - as close as I'll get.
I stay a bit late some eve's to do admin dreary-ness - these are the times I'll lock the door and the dresses come out. For an hour or so... then it's into drab before home-time and back to my lovely family , from whom I hide this madness
The other day in a moment of insanity I ended up going to work with pink polish on my finger nails, I had put it on in the morning and wanted it on in the evening so decided to leave it on rather than clean of and reapply. I saw two customers and if they noticed neither said anything

Hey Donna S - don't worry about the nurses. We see plenty all the time. While some may laugh and joke about it "in the break room", most of us just keep going.
When I worked the floor, I wore white scrubs but I always wore a white cami, white panties, and white support hose. When I worked critical care & ER, I didn't have to worry about color so much since the scrubs were blue. Now that I'm self employed, depending on my schedule, I either underdress or on those wonderful days when I'm not seeing customers, I get to fully dress.
it's not exactly a secret, sometimes it's fairly evident, but I always wear a bra & panties underneath. Often I'll wear womens jeans at work and sometimes sweaters. And depending on the weather sometimes tights, or sweater tights if it's really cold. Nobody has ever mentioned anything about it, but I suppose everyone knows. Anyway, it's a pretty small community, and outside of work I only wear womens styles, so everyone has to know.
I've gone to work regularly in panties and light pink polish on fingers and toes (like a French mani without the white), sometimes I've worn a bra and thigh highs and some andro jewelry. I've gotten pretty good at wearing eye shadow so no one (almost) notices. I once went to the eye doctor with eye shadow on and he told me before my next appointment to not wear eye makeup. I was mortified but I guess he was professional about it because I've never heard anything about it and we share a lot of friends.
I don't know if this counts or not but I have recently been participating in a creative writing course and have worn ladies side zip trousers and tights underneath it felt great and nobody even noticed.
I came out to my wife just last week. More about that later when I write my Into post.
I'm sitting on break right now. Under my work clothes. Everything is shaved nice and smooth and I have a beautiful pair of gray VS bikini panties with lace trim.
They feel amazing.
They are a great reminder throughout the work day of the new me!!
I am retired these days, so it no longer matters what I wear. But I am enfemme under my regular clothes when out and about or working on the house. I come to this activity rather late in life. But I enjoy dressing to way I do.

That's interesting, I always thought of trying the feeling of maxipads. I notice that even though I wear panties, I still have to wear reg boxers underneath, or else my pants will keep sliding down, because they're not as thick. I would love to just wear the panties, so does anyone else have this problem, or suggestions?

I love the smell of baby powder and carry it with me. I have body sprays at home, but don't carry them with me, but maybe will start.

Great suggestion, baby wipes are very good to keep yourself clean, and smooth. Also, my roommate gave me a pretty bracelet, but it's a little big for my wrist, so I'm wearing it as an ankle bracelet. It jingles when I'm walking, which is a nice reminder. Yesterday I put on stockings underneath my pants, and also the maxi pad, feels great! Got my toes painted blue with glitter.
