Breast form adhesives

Post by Martina Hall »

Hi Ladies,
Does anyone have any experience with adhesives for breast forms? Have you tried it and liked it, or hated it, would you buy it or use it again, etc.
Tell me your opinions, please.
I AM my own hot girlfriend.

Martina,

I have used spray adhesives with my forms and have had no problems with them staying in place. I can even sleep en femme with my forms without a bra on. In the past I have used Duro adhesive spray found in Wal - Mart, but now use 3M spray adhesive and both work well.

not sure what kind of adhesive you mean
you could try the adhesive double sided tape
i have a adhesive bra i have worn a few times
it stays on pretty good and comes off easily and does not leave any kind of residue behind
my only concern with it is that the adhesive might eventually wash off so i may need to buy some of that adhesive tape some time
i think its called lingerie tape or something i saw it on ebay for like 8$

When I bought breast forms way before I transitioned, I bought the Hollister adhesive spray for them. It turned out to be latex based, and I am highly allergic to latex. It made the area of the adhesive burn, and break out.

Just sayin' be careful of your allergies if you have any.

I got some Scotch Super 77 at Wal-Mart the other day, it works very well. I'll have to say it is a different experience being able to put your bra on after you put your forms on. Alcohol works to remove the adhesive, but takes a while, I found that using De-Solv-It, works better and is much faster. I don't see any problem using these products. Just a thought, Goof-Off might be another option for removal, but I didn't have any to try.

Well girls I use double sided tape that is sold by the cancer people made just for breast forms. It is triangle shape and all I need is one in each corner for my forms and it will hold them until you remove your forms. No mess no harm to your forms as they unpeel as easy as they go on. Pricey yes but they do work very well and no harm to your forms. *-*

Sounds like a good option Carol. Where were you able to buy it?

For me i can't go without using adhesive anymore. I use Hollisters 7730 and it's remover.
yes it is pricey, especialy when i use it daily, and yes it's messy but for me i just have to stick the forms down.
To just slip the forms into a bra they move around too much and require "adjusting" every once in a while and it's just too annoying.
Gluing them down means they stay put no matter what i get upto and no matter the weather too.

Everybody will have their own ideas on what's best for them so if attaching your forms is something you want to do then maybe try a few differant ideas to find which you prefer most.

I have never used tape or adhesive, but just ordered a new pair of forms with the tape and also ordered a spray adhesive. I, unfortunately, am a housebound femme, but it is a bit of a pain with the repositioning all the time and would love the chance to have my forms in place without a bra while doing my makeup....as well as other things that shall go unmentioned!!! How do you make the nice seal around the edges, that conforms to your natural skin? It would be incredible to just see myself as I want to see myself without gaps or edges. Any makeup suggestions? I have one weekend a year that I can be an allnight femme and it's coming up. I don't want to miss out on anything!

After much discussion with my part time female hubby on this subject. Any forms will be attached to the outer chest, not part of the underlaying chest tissue. Whatever glue or adhesive used will not feel quite like real breasts. "She' has used 3M Super 77 spray adhesive and Goo Gone to remove afterwards.
I understand wanting the sensation of real boobies, but the glue doesn't seem too comfortable in my opinion. What do I know? Buy a good fitting bra, or a mastectomy bra with pockets.
