It's my name, not a verb :-)
Hi! Yet another refugee from a now-defunct site; I recognize a few other folks who found there way here.
As you have probably guessed from my avatar and name, I'm... a bit odd, even in the fabulous fluffy world of crossdressing. I do not consider myself the least bit female -- hence the name and the beard -- but whenever possible* I prefer long, soft dresses and skirts** to trousers and shirts. It's not a fetish thing either (that ship sailed decades ago). I just feel more comfortable this way.
In the extremely unlikely chance that you're a regular guy who also likes to feel pretty, I'd love to hear from you. I'm also more than happy to meet the more mainstream folks, but I'm afraid I have little of value to contribute to discussions about makeup, fake breasts, tucking, passing, plucking, walking, or hormones.
* Which is to say nearly 24/7, thanks to an understanding wife and a job I can do from home. I only put on the man clothes when our (now adult) kids visit or when we go out.
** For all my raunchy maleness, why am I attracted more to the ultra-feminine of bygone eras? I dunno. I'm sure a shrink could build a mansion just from the income I provide trying to find the answer, but it's not worth it to me. I just accept who I am, after some 40 years of soul-searching
Livin' la vida taffeta,

I'm sure deep down a lot of us feel very similar feelings.

Welcome, Ralph.
I think there are a few people here you just like looking pretty without wanting to be women - but they have girl names. You're going to need another avatar.

Hi, Ralph, and welcome to the forum!
Anthony Simon is correct (^), you will need another avatar as the one you originally uploaded does not conform to our rules.
I have sent you a PM with a reminder of our rules, all of which are strictly enforced.
We look forward to your participation, so don't be shy!

Yeah, apologies for the goof on my part. I actually had read the rules about avatars before I picked one, but it honestly never crossed my mind that I was presenting a mix of male and female characteristics. Sometimes it takes an outside point of view to see things in perspective
Thanks for the warm welcome!

Hi Ralph--
Welcome to the forum! I think there may be sites out there (or at least a Yahoo group), where the members feel just as you do about the role of women's clothes in their lives. Not that we aren't wonderful folks on here, but you're right, you're not going to be eagerly reading about make-up tips, or about "passing" down at the mall. We do write about other things from time to time, and you're invited to put your thoughts out there, too.

DonnaT, Bugs Bunny and other characters from the Warner Brothers universe always did enjoy a bit of crossdressing!

Hi Ralph. I do not think we have a refugee status. So I guess you are just another one of us. Welcome to the site.

I am a physically male person that likes to wear feminine clothes at times.
Just trying keep a balance for my self along with keeping my wife and kids in mind.
