PM Notification Emails, Etc.

Hi, Ladies -

I'd like to know if anyone here has not been receiving the email notifications from the forum - such as that you have a PM waiting for you, or a topic reply notification email - and you usually do receive them?

I have not received an email all week and I'm supposed to get notices up the proverbial yin-yang . . . while on one hand I'm enjoying not having a full Inbox of emails, on the other hand I like to know what is waiting for me, too.


We're trying to narrow down where the problem resides - our software, the server, or the webhost - so if you're not receiving notices and you usually do, please let me know that by posting in this topic.

oh dear did not know we were meant to be reciving that any way, mind you i'v had my =normal= computer issue's and have another one im on. so i'v clicked the box to make sure,

Yes, it happened to me yesterday with a PM. Don't do the notifications for topics option.

Noeleena - Everyone has that option available to them, the setting is in your UCP (User Control Panel).

Anthony - Thank you, I'm glad to know it is affecting someone other than me.

Carol Ann - The forum must be taking pity on you, being stuck home with all the snow and ice . . . lucky you!!


We're trying to locate where the problem resides, and we'd still like to know if anyone else has been affected.

No receipt of email PM notification, using yahoo.

Same here, Donna . . . even when I changed the forum's email address to one of mine at Hotmail, the result is the same - no emails.
