Ok, my weight at 173.8 (1.8 pounds over ideal), I have maxed out what I can do there. I have shaved my legs and body, red glossed toenails. I have gel inserts for my bra when I want more curvature and am satisfied with the results preferring to accent what I have. and I have those panties that can shape my butt but don't really wear them. Oh and have cleaned and polished and shaped my rather short fingernails. I have the clothing thing down, and can do basic make up without a problem but there is always room to improve. I think a cosmetologist could give me advice tell me what my correct skin tone is, what the best brow shape is for me, and give more detail on things like how to look better and natural with my make up without looking like a cheap tart! I don't want to look cheap and nasty. I also need help on what would really make a difference in terms of skin care if any or is rubbing lotion of any kind on my skin really going to do anything at all?
I also need help from a hair stylist Last time I skipped the barber for several months the I looked like a real duffus in guy mode with ratty shaggy hair only about as long as my ear lobes. I just did not like how I looked but I do want longer hair because it did get long enough to effect a short feminine style. I was able to brush it out and style it to meet minimum requirements for a short pretty woman's style. Although you do see women on occasion with hair that is even shorter than that of most men sporting larger ear rings. I am Caucasian just an aid to visualization for any wondering...I mean more bangly styled ear rings not 3" hoops. No that is not a racist statement! but I suppose a hair stylist could help me to choose the best compromise style unless I want to go full time and completely out! I guess making a private appointment with a stylist who sees one lady at a time might be less stressful except seeing the customer before me and the customer after me looking at me with knowing eyes. Same thing with a cosmetologist but having a car parked in the drive advertising Mary kay, or Avon if they are still around would not be good either...hum could have them come on the sly to my home....Any one with advice out there??
I seriously need a make over!

Re: I seriously need a make over!
Well I did go to a cosmetologist once and it was a great help. I ended up there sort of accidentally because I went to get help with a wig that I had. They told me the wig was a nightmare and I needed to spend the money for a good one (which I have yet to do).
So anyway, I saw that they also gave lessons, or advice, which were free if you bought enough stuff. The lady helping me was great and she explained everything. And I left there with about $300 worth of stuff
Also, you should definitely ask your hair stylist for advice. And honestly, some of them are better than others and you might need to try several places before finding someone you like.
Of course, I'm always wearing a dress or skirt and feminine top, so there is never any worry about who might find out something. The primary concern is really to find a cute hair style that works for me, and not to hide anything. Well I haven't actually found a style that I really like, but my hair is thin and scraggly and I'm not happy with it. I heard recently that using hops extract on your hair can make it thicker and fuller, so I've been doing that for the last month or so, but don't see any improvement yet.

Re: I seriously need a make over!
Yeah...we are no different than any other girl out there ... such services are available to us I suppose it is the venue that is difficult to figure. Do we want a sales associate in the woman's make up section of a large department store with many other female shoppers around as we sit conspicuously on a white leather stool as the female sales associate goes to work on our faces?? I just am not to the place that I would feel comfortable. I think I would be very comfortable with and AVON, or Mary K lady working on me in my one home sitting at my own dining table. But the down side of that is that our neighbors would see the cars with advertisements for Avon or Mark K parked out front and well dressed women entering our home carrying bags loaded down with female make up products.
Hence I think if I could arrange to meet some cosmetologist at a secluded boutique or hair salon that only serves one or two customers at a time by appointment OR if they could come incognito to hour own home perhaps such an arrangement can be made if they have reason to believe we would be regular customers who would continue to purchase items over time making it worth their while. I think I like this last option and I may try calling Mary K to see if something like this could be arranged if so it would nearly as wonderful as purchasing items over the internet, probably even better.
