French Maid cleaning

Post by Kandi »

Well, I really don't think cleaning carpets is to much fun, but with my french maids dress on it wasn't to bad. I got all dressed en-femme, stockings, heels, wig, make-up the whole gig, then cleaned the carpets. Being dressed helped with the chore. Wife liked it when she came home to find clean carpets and her maid at work. Then I had to service her, but that is another story ! Happy cleaning !

There is certainly nothing wrong with being a wife for our female husbands - however that works out for you I think I would like to have equal time personally but being submissive does not - for me at least mean I will let anyone walk all over me. I expect to be loved as I love and respect my wife so as a wife I expect to be loved and respected as well, and like any woman I expect to have my say in things even when I aquiesse the final decision making authority to my female husband. I do not need to be in a maid uniform to be a wife, a casual dress or even shorts and top serves me as well as they do for any wife.

Female husband?!?

W-I-T-H is that, a female that happens to work outside the home for a living??

That term is totally derogatory, implies that all working GG's are 'butch' and does nothing but get me PO'ed big time (and that's being very polite). -,,- -,,-

Anne, you have crossed the line. [-X [-(

While in your French Maid costume, do the laundry, clean the bathroom, and shop for dinner.
Fantasy is just that, Kandi. I'm sure your wife appreciated the chores done, just as I am when gone for a day. I don't care how my husband is dressed, as long as the list of things to do is taken care of.

I think I'll have to go with SL on this one. I don't think it is unfeminine for a woman to be assertive. My mother was a widow who was a breadwinner and the head of our household my whole childhood, She was competent, successful, and always a lady.

I think that for us as cross dressers or as transgendered individuals to project the masculinity that we might reject on to our partners is a mistake. I know that my own wife's doubts about my feminine behaviors are very much affected by how that might place her into a role she cannot accept.

Stereotypes might seem attractive in fantasy, but they are what keeps us in the the closet. We need to fight them, both public and private, if we are to have any hope of truly liberating ourselves.
I am a vessel of the Goddess. Let me express my calling to a feminine life through nurturing love and relatedness.

My impression is that SL herself has gone overboard on this one and taken what Anne said much too personally and in a way that Anne never meant.

Wow, people really! This was just a fun story that I did one afternoon. Wife has done the same, and cooked, and worked, as have I. We are just an old married couple that likes to have fun with each other. No harm, no foul, we both share the load, I am not a girl, she is not a man, but we do have fun roll playing. Geez people get a life!

Hi Kandi

Glad you had a good time. I too enjoy putting on a maids out fit while I am cleaning the house, or cooking etc.
It is a fun way to play.

I do believe I have been misunderstood. Sorry. I do not see a working woman as doing something "masculine". My wife has a DNS or doctorate and was a college professor with an income surpassing mine - never once did I see that as inappropriate for a woman - that is a ridiculous thought that never crossed my mind. BTW...I had a full professional career and sometimes I had more income than my wife so I am no slacker! I worked and worked and worked - now I am retired!!! yeah!!! Wish my wife could enjoy with me...

I believe in equality. Women have brains, educations, careers, and why on earth would they not be anything but our partners. I never saw myself as being over my wife or her being in submission to me at all - never entered my mind. As things worked out though...I did see that much of the time I was placed in the position and was seen by her as the "head of the household" and was expected to make the occasional decision, mostly I saw such decisions as shared and equally agreed upon, so anything else was rare if ever. In a traditional marriage this is just how things tend to work without anyone making any conscious choice about it.

All I am saying is sometimes I would like it if my wife would take the lead and actually make some decisions She probably did because I frequently went along with whatever she wanted it is probably why we had a great marriage, and sometimes she went along with me. I never told her what to do especially related to her work or career, I was just proud that when she could have chosen much better men, for some reason she chose to love and marry me.

Back to this thread - I am not into wearing a maid uniform but would just wear the same thing any wife would wear and would be perfectly happy doing wife type things cleaning the house (gawd don't mean anything by that...how about doing the more domestic household chores), I do that now but my wife can't because she is completely disabled and on the decline, still I like doing things around here in female mode, and if she were here would have no problem serving her while she relaxed or went out to mow the lawn etc...or change the oil in the car as I fixed lunch. Doing it ALL it is all just stuff that has to be done or we live in a pigsty and I was raised washing clothes, washing dishes and doing household chores so having always done them anyway I do not see them as "beneath me" or as "woman's work" but earlier generations certainly did label such things as being done exclusively by women and men doing them were looked down upon in earlier times.

Well I say do whatever you need to do to make the work a little more fun. I don't have a maids outfit, and I live alone anyway, so there is nobody to dress up for. And usually when I'm cleaning I just wear old clothes so I don't get stains on anything nice.
But it does sound like a lot of fun to play the maid once in a while for your spouse.

Point taken, Kandi. The whole idea of a maid's outfit is to subject yourself to a 'service' position. Role play is not something that husband and I have explored, yet. Interesting...

I dunno if I role played when i wore my maid's uniform, I just really enjoyed the look and feel :) More costume than role for me. I would wear mine if I had chores or not. It was an excuse to go petticoat shopping too. I can't remember how many times ro saw me in the outfit, but I got smiles from her like I was a nut kinda smiles. :) Okay so I am a nut.

Kandi, enjoy your outfits :) You get to wear them, some girls don't.
