shop like a real shopper

Post by Ralitsa »

Kimberly made a point in a previous thread that is now locked that I like, she said
My experience is if you shop like a real shopper you are treated like a shopper. Hint the Sales Associates like to help, so when they ask if you need help you say yes!!!!!! Then hang on for the ride and enjoy.
This has been very much my experience as well. I've seen it said that they just want your money but I really believe that is not accurate.
A few days ago after work I went over to JC Penny to pick up a few things. After that, I swung through Dress Barn just to take a quick look, and Katrina saw me! There was no escape now :P She has helped me there before, and it might be presumptuous to call her my friend but we always end up chatting about a lot of stuff when we meet. So I asked whether they have anything I will like, and she went out and started collecting
I tried on about 10 different things, one of which was a red top which normally I would never have picked, but she was right and it looked great on me. I'm not sure which one of us had more fun :) But I know she likes clothes, she has a good eye for what looks right on a person, and she really likes helping people look good. Luckily the top was on sale, so with that and a dress I only spent $40. But I'm going back this afternoon...........

And real shoppers never pay full price. Good you got a deal :) I've always gotten along with my Dress Barn buds too. Girls, if you frequent a store whether you buy or not, eventually them girls just know. If you just not worry about that, then you will be getting that much more attention. And afterall, you're gonna buy something and everyone is happy.

Yes girls I agree to this. My experience has been great, they will help you as much as they can, and treat you with respect to who you are. I don't know what they talk about after you left the store, but so far they have treat me pretty good.
I am a woman of trans experience.

I have been out and shopping as a woman since the 80's and I can cute on one and the number of bad experiences I have had. I have always acted like a lady and in return been treated like one. The stores want your business and when they realize you are there to spend they will treat you accordingly. Sure I have been in many a store and not bought a thing but if you act properly you will be treated the same.
